I'm sure you've all heard of the program called 100 Pushups, which received quite a bit of media attention a few years ago. Here's an excerpt from the site:

I'm sure many of you, like me, have tried this program and failed to hold to the schedule, mainly due to lack of interest, but I figure that if Facepunch does this as a communal effort, we may just be able to make it through the entire program.
[b]The Initial Test[/b]
The initial test gauges your strength based on age and the number of pushups you're able to complete in one set. Here's a copy of the chart from the website:

Before starting Week 1, I recommend taking a couple of days to familiarize yourself with the program and recover from the exertion of the initial test. You'll be required to work out three times per week - Monday, Wednesday, Friday worked well for me.
Don't forget how many push ups you performed in the test and if you're still keen to improve your strength and fitness, read on to learn more about the program.
* If you're concerned about your Rank in the extreme left column; there's really no need. The scale of 1 to 7 is purely an indicator of current fitness, and can be used as a comparison tool between yourself, friends, family & co-workers.
Most people tend to fall into Rank 2 or 3 which is a great starting point for the plan. If you're ranked 1, you may need to consider one of the alternative push ups on the "What is a push up?" page. If you're ranked 6 or 7, maybe you need a tougher plan?![/quote]
Week 1 will start on Monday, Janurary 17th. We will stick to the schedule recommended by the site and do Day 1 on Monday, Day 2 on Wednesday, and Day 3 on Friday. This post will be updated accordingly to keep up with the program.

I've been thinking of gaining more strength in my arms latley. Count me in.
This'd help me out in Raiders.
Also there's the x number of situps and x number of pull up sites as well, might wanna check those out, they're very similar to this but with the aforementioned movements

Ok did the initial and got around 70. Shame my arms are about to fall off from working my arms at my gym 10 minutes before this.
IN THREE DAYS I WILL BE RECOVERED AND I WILL SUCCEED WITH A FULL 100.
PS. If u want 2 get strong I suggest you get some used dumbbells and work the shit out of those, than just building arm endurance via pussy push ups.

been doing this for a while, started being able to do like 10 before collapsing in a pile of failure. now i can do like 30.
Might as well give it a try, already about half way there already on the initial test.
I bet none of the FP furries could do this.
Majority of furries are overweight and extremely out of shape.
