[release]Neighbors in Portland got so sick of a house they suspected was an outpost for drug activity, that they took matters into their own hands. KPTV reports that concerned residents started handing out "heroin for sale" fliers with the house's address. One of the fliers was sent to police and it piqued their interest.[/release] Source: Huffington Post Well, looks like my biggest city near home in Oregon did something awesome. Video report inside.
I wonder if anyone aside from the police went there...
I went, their heroin wasn't even good
Only in Oregon.
they couldve just used that special number they've always had to you know, phone the police? or are these guys crime hipsters who feel its too mainstream to call emergency services

What the hell? Since when is it okay for people to do something like this instead of just, you know, calling the fucking police? It doesn't matter that they were right, it's not okay to falsely advertise illegal services at another person's house just because you don't like them. "Eh, this guy's a dick, so I'll put ads on Craigslist for a gay orgy at his place next week. I'm sure he's up to something anyway..." You people would not be on their side if the article read "Man shot and killed in drug raid after neighbors post fake fliers".

What good is he? He probably went to grab that shotgun so the police had no choice but to fire. People probably didn't want to call it in and get the word out of who rat on that person to be on some gang related hit list.

My mum did the same when we used to live next to the town drug dealer, he threatened to sue for slander apparently not realising it's not slander if it's true.

Watch the video for christs sake. And it wasn't because "They didn't like them", it was because they had lived next to them for a couple of years and had become suspicious. you make it sound like the police saw the flier and went "WELL DAMN THAT SURE IS CONCLUSIVE EVIDENCE, CARPET BOMB THE HOUSE"
I went, their heroin wasn't even good
The shit in Israel must be pretty lame then, for you to go halfway around the world for Heroin. :v:

True heroes.
