OH SHIT
fuckin hell
whoa
Whoa what the fuck, that was an extremely close call.
this is why Police departments dumped the revolvers and went to automatics, just look at the volume of fire he sent his way. Only in Nashville it took a couple officer deaths before making the switch
That suspect is a douche.
Shit good thing the cop wasn't hit. That was so unprovoked.
This is pretty late. There was a news story that went with it. In the video you can hear the click of the hammer hitting a spent round right while the gun is lined up with his head. He got really lucky, I think the driver was killed too, he was hit in the back then drove into that pole
Shit, I guess the officer did not see that one coming.

[editline]6th August 2011[/editline] Also, thank GOD the cop survived.
That cop's a badass. On most of these videos you hear the cop's voices crack when they scream when the gun's pointed at him, but he just kinda yells. Although you could tell he was pretty shaken up when he was calling it in, couldn't even finish a sentence
Suspect got lit up pretty bad. Badass cop.
Proper cop
Shit I bet he was flabbergasted when he pulled the gun
Cop wasn't a dick so I say the driver deserved it.

I don't think the driver or the cop deserved it, none of you know what the hell the driver had went through before making such a decision so don't say he deserved to die. Assholes.
I find it amazing how the guy would have only got like a $50 ticket but he had to die for it, oh well
I don't think the driver or the cop deserved it, none of you know what the hell the driver had went through before making such a decision so don't say he deserved to die. Assholes.
Right because whatever he went through totally could have justified pulling a gun on a cop like that.
To be fair the shooter's judgement to bring out his gun may have been impaired a little bit by alcohol... but I don't know.
Right because whatever he went through totally could have justified pulling a gun on a cop like that.
Well no, but whatever it was must have been fucked up, and he deserved help. Not 50 rounds to the back of his head. You just want somebody to die 'as long as they deserve it'. Because SOMEONE deserves to die. But oh well, he's gone now, it's a shame.
To be fair the shooter's judgement to bring out his gun may have been impaired a little bit by alcohol... but I don't know.
He carried a gun on him in a car, probably had it in his pocket, driving drunk, Tried to shoot an officer
He carried a gun on him in a car, probably had it in his pocket, driving drunk, Tried to shoot an officer
Got shot in the back Poetic justice

While its a shame he died, he also could've simply not pulled the gun in the first place, and yes I know alcohol could cloud judgment, but same goes for drinking BEFORE driving. And I agree, death was unneeded, but when someone endangers their own lives, and the lives of others, death can come swiftly, nothing to do about it, but just accept it.
Well, shooting at the police will cause them to shoot back regardless if he's drunk.

I was wondering how he was still driving after being filled with lead but then realized he was probably dead when he hit the telephone pole.

Of course they can buy them when they become cops and they usually go with the standard guns. Around my city a glock19 is typically used but i've seen officers packing 1911's berettas and sigs.
I spilled my drink!
