• Norman 3D Character Model

So I am working on my first ever character model. I am using 3dsmax. For any of you that don't remember the show Mighty Max, here is what Norman looks like: It was pretty difficult for me to draw the front, top, and side views. I even had to buy a scanner just for this project. I'm sure I will use it a lot down the road though. Here is what I have done so far: I think it is looking pretty good. I am kinda afraid to do the head. But after all of that, I will rig it to a skeleton and possibly animate it.
the hands look like they just came out of a press, maybe you should sort them out aswell as the shoes.
Look for tutorials on how to model a hand and use those to work out the hands of the character.
Lol, it's hard to model decent hands
That's no argument.
That's no argument.
Agreed. If that's the only reason, there's just not enough effort paid. You only get better by doing more hands, iterating.

I never modeled a hand before (or character) so I used my hand as a reference. It is meant to be a low poly character.
Yeah well still play around with some points so the hand looks more 3D instead of a flat surface that has been extruded...
