So today I was browsing around the web and found something that caught my eye.

I won't elaborate, but pretty much under VT there is currently six miles of mapped underground steam tunnels, rooms/buildings and mechanical setups, which people love to explore. It sounds like it would be fun, especially if you are an exploration junkie but people have gotten arrested and seriously injured, even died, (Asbestos, heat, drops etc.) although some tunnels are easier to navigate than others. There are also much rumors and mystery concerning the tunnels. For more info I suggest you read up the site, it has info and journals/pics/videos from the website creators trips. Apparently VT has been being explored for a while, there are some sites regarding this, stories and info about people who explored abandon and underground areas. Interesting.

Creepy..
Discuss...
Why would anyone want to go there..
Was Virginia Tech the one where the guy killed everyone in?
I wouldn't want to get lost and be trapped in a set of hot underground tunnels for days without food and water
Wouldn't want to go, too many ghosts of dead students.

About 10 people died, not the whole school.
Shit this would be a great video short consisting of one scared guy and sounds.
It sounds fun exploring, if you're in a group. I would never go down there by myself though......
I'm pretty sure most Universities have these. I know ASU has a few miles of tunnels under it, but they've got motion sensors and alarms.
From what I've heard VT has little security and landmarks under there, like underground libraries, crawlspaces and rooms. There's probably more to explore than people already have, god I'd go there just to do this... Maybe I'm just crazy.
Next FP meetup place 2011
Where is the entrance to that? I know there's a fallout shelter under Hahn hall but I've never heard of this.

I can see a creepypasta of the tunnels being inhabited by the ghosts of shooting victims or something
I fucking love Urbex

That's so mean :c
I wish I lived in Virginia now. I'm a sucker for doing things like that.
The university near me has tunnels, but not really like these. Their tunnels are for travel for the most part, and students ride around in go karts to get to class! Watch for them though, because you can get slammed from behind if you're not careful.
People have died there yet I imagine the tunnels are legitimately used by staff and whatnot. Kind of a funny contrast.

They would just ask questions like when the next test is going to be. They would be nothing but dead weight if you are one of those people who like to just get things done.

I doubt it.
Maybe there are physics labs down there! Bet it filters out cosmic rays mighty nicely.
oh wow i bet that place is awesome to just chill in, provided you find a place that won't kill you.
Must explore this fall semester

You have a Fallout avatar, you're supposed to get a stiffy when you see pictures of rusty pipes in poor lit hallways

GHOST cleaning supplies
:ghost:
I found this site yesterday. All they do is search this underground area at VT. Wasn't very interesting, really.
Although I guess it's kinda cool because the place is underground and forbidden.
Still, meh.
Drops? Like random holes or somthing?
Or cliche out of no where random cliff?
