Aw, I was hoping to see more gameplay. Still funny as hell though
It's like 90s awkward promo or game shows or, except actually good and not even awkward. Amazing what they built there!
It's amusing the lengths they went to recreate the scene followed by screwing with Jon on the post-setup. Damn.
[sp]Welcome to the family, Jon.[/sp]
Fuck that shit. Looks great. What was up with the resolution though :S?
better than Scare Pewdiepie

psvr stuff basically looks like that
I love how he constantly tries to make light of it even when it's supposed to be scaring him. Makes me think that would be an amazing premise for a horror movie.
It's amazing how far they went to recreate the PS1-like graphics!
I can't blame the one guy though. No one likes doing ADR
The concept looks great good to see people making an actual vr game, the implementation looks bad though from the shit graphics to the bad Interface and what looked like poor controls, it should use the PS dildos and have you move around but maybe psvr can't do room scale?
Current-gen consoles shouldn't be a platform for VR, they can barely do 720p on a single display and VR ideally requires at least two 1080p renders.
im afraid that psvr is going to scare the masses away from vr.
more for us then

i think the pro should be a requirement for psvr titles

The pro isn't even that much better for VR from what I've seen.
Its great that they let Jon be himself in that. Otherwise this would be pretty bad like most of those setups usually are.
lol the ending
"he's still there"
the problem with Playstation VR is that it's got a small screen pixel density, hardly HD compared to the average headsets like Oculus or Vive on PC. but then this is more of a problem with these kinds of videos since blowing up their small pixelated screens is really fucking ugly
generally speaking, while it's a common complaint about the PSVR, i see most say that it's pretty efficient and comfortable, and for its price it's a fairly reasonable VR set. a larger problem is a lack of notable software for it, expectedly
Not to mention that the ps vr tracking is awful becouse it uses the outdated light tracking tech from years ago
I like the hand he kicks at 4:35

Pretty sure the PSVR is 1280x720/eye, I may be wrong though

RE7 isn't VR exclusive so they can't really make an entirely new control scheme that would force them to basically completely remake the entire game just to have VR support.

There's an episode of Black Mirror focused on a guy who playtests an AR horror game and he has basically the same nervous-jokey approach through the whole thing.

It's a single 1080p panel. It's apparently a very good panel though, little screen door.
PSVR looks better then how you see it right now through that video. But since people would experience VR for the first time it would still satisfy them since they didn't know any better.
I mean Oculus Dev Kit 1 was shitty in terms of resolution and that got me immersed alright
more for us then
no thats the exact opposite of how it works
