A US couple had a lucky escape from a tornado after it ripped their home from its foundations and dropped it back on the ground 15m away.
But others weren't so fortunate as 39 tornadoes ripped a swathe of destruction across Minnesota on Friday, killing three people and destroying hundreds of homes.
A real twist of life.

.com.au means australia...
Those tornadoes really fucked shit up around here. The TC was left relatively unscathed but a lot of the outer cities and the farm cities got fucked hard.

I was scared shitless then is suddenly went from purple to yellow. I took a huge sigh of relief.
Are you guys being sarcastic, or did the sky really change colour?

Reporting on American News. I for one saw the "US" before I saw the .au at the end of the URL.

are you really that stupid?
I said reporting on American News. American News meaning newsworthy material that happened in America. frankly, I've never heard of ninemsn, most likely because I don't live in Australia.
Not a huge deal, but it doesn't seem that hard to simply put "meters" at the end of it.
We're not in Minnesota anymore
what a twist
are you really that stupid?
Are you really that fucking dense?
Look at the news article, it's on an Australian website about US news, which is why I was confused as to whether it was Australian or not because they shouldn't be reporting on US news.
I was asking a simple question relative to the measurement system used on the site, and you think I'm a total retard? Get over yourself, and stop posting.

Don't you think it's a little out of the ordinary that Australians are reporting on American news? Or at least, that an article about America by Australia posted on FP is very rare

In tornado territory, if ones inbound the sky turns a hellish green or orange.
Picture 8 in the gallery... It tore the back off the kitchen and the cabinets but left the contents intact. What are they even attatched to!? :psyduck:
Another Albert Lea resident, Angie Woodside, said she called her in-laws as the twisters struck, begging them to take shelter at her home.
Mrs Woodside's mother-in-law Kathy refused, saying she did not want to go into a shelter.
"She just thought the whole thing would collapse on top of her ... she would rather not be underneath everything," Mrs Woodside said.
One of the twisters threw Kathy 60m from her home into a paddock. She was killed.
How can someone be that stupid? "No I don't want to go to the shelter that was designed to protect me I'd rather stay in my house waiting for the tornado to pass over me"
Are you guys being sarcastic, or did the sky really change colour?
At least thrice I have witnessed the sky going bright yellow, to bright orange, to red, to bright pink, to purple. It happens within the space of about 30 minutes and when I see it, it's not to do with tornadoes, it's from the sunset.
