bernie would've won
bernie would've won
What's done is done, unfortunately. All we can do is focus on the upcoming local races in 2017 and 2018 since Democrats are going to be on the defensive, and see if a certain announcement comes thereafter for 2020.
bernie would've won
He can still win

I find it amazing that Bernie managed to gain so much traction over the span of only about two years. He's basically greeted like a rock star whenever he walks on stage. The fact that so many people can get so excited about somebody like him gives me a lot of hope.

I think you guys forgot the quintessential shitpost of "I JUST DONATED MY COLLEGE SAVINGS TO BERNIE, MATCH ME!".
Is it just me that thinks it must be really hard for politician to hold speeches like this because of the crowds neverending desire to applaud and cheer after every sentence? In Sweden this is not the case at all and I really like it, then you get to listen to the person speaking and making more points than "We are good *applause and cheers* Trump can't stop us *applause and cheers* Trump said he will work for the working class *boos*". He literally only managed to say "Donald Trump is a Fraud" at one point and then couldn't continue speaking because of people cheering. This is most likely a cultural thing, because I've noticed the same on talk shows etc. but I just like hearing the people I want to listen to speak and not get interrupted by cheers and applauses. And before someone says "it's supposed to be like that to rally the people" I would like to say that it's not really rallying if it happens every 10 second, instead it looses it's affect like anything that is overused, and it just becomes annoying.

Nobody clapped for FDR during his first inaugural speech except at the end(I think) because words don't really earn applause, actions do. Things change I guess. here is the speech, kind of cut up due to the nature of how old it is but you can tell any applause is very sparse.

This guy could have been our president. What the fuck made the DMC think it was a good idea to throw him under the bus.
This guy could have been our president. What the fuck made the DMC think it was a good idea to throw him under the bus.
Who actually.....Hillary...
That signing translator was excellent lol, she was so fired up!
That signing translator was excellent lol, she was so fired up!
The sign language gesture for "Trump" is hilarious
This guy could have been our president. What the fuck made the DMC think it was a good idea to throw him under the bus.
3 factors off the top of my head 1) a lot of DNC leadership having personal and professional relationships for Clinton going back for years 2) The assumption that Democrat voters in general would have backed Clinton, which actually turned out to be mostly true 3) a severe underestimation of how tired people were of the political establishment, which Clinton epitomized
lol bernie was there and hillary wasn't
Shows you which candidate actually cared.
Hope he never becomes president. Hope Trump gets another 4 years. For the reason that it will fuck up that country so much faster then if a less bad President wins. Our whole world is just so focused on money, money, money. That’s the biggest problem. That’s why everything fucks up. That’s the target we have to fix. We need to make sure that we are going to get a different focus in life. Hopefully technology will give us robots that will take away all the jobs, which will cause like a massive worldwide unemployment; somewhat like 60 percent. People will be so unhappy. That would be great, because then you can finally see capitalism crashing so hard. There is going to be a lot of fear, lost blood, and lost lives to get to that point, but I think that’s the only positive thing I see, that we are going to have a total system collapse in the future. Hopefully as quick as possible. I would rather be 50 then be like 85 when the system is crashing.

It is heartwarming to see Bernie still getting so much support and attending a rally like this

Either way I think it's good for the crowd to show so much positivity
