I was just wondering if I was the only one that had a huge effect when drinking coffee. My body gets really fidgety and from one sip of it I can be up for hours. Sometimes I'm worried because I think my heart is going to stop or something. I've been drinking it for about a week now. So is this just because I'm new to coffee or is it just because my body reacts differently then others to coffee? I never drank coffee before because I was always told it was really bad for you. Until I learned to trust google other then family members.
It's the caffeine. You'll get used to it eventually.

I usually get this if i drink an espresso after taking my daily ritalin. You know, tachycardia, sweaty hands,anxiousness... never doing it again, it's one or the other, never both.

You had a mild anxiety attack. One sip of coffee doesn't do anything, and worrying about your heart is a huge sign of an anxiety attack.

To be honest, caffeine have never had any effect on me. I still drink coffee, though, as I find it tasty and relaxing.
Or you could just react badly to caffeine in the first place, ignoring your potential tolerance levels and whatnot. If it genuinely concerns you, go see a doctor.
