It seems a certain network might have a terrible writing budget, or otherwise mandated buzzphrases.

illerminati is writing the script to probram people
Conspiracy shenanigans aside, why does this actually happen? That phrase didn't seem all that common.
Company writes scripts. Sells said scripts to news broadcasting agencies.

I can't wait for local news to go extinct. The reporting quality is dog dick.
I'm really curious as to what follows this. "But one family in *insert town and state here* have been finding..."
There is also;
"Economic factors may take the spring out of the easter bunny's step this year"
"Mike Myers says; Yeah baby!"
"Conan O'brian might be about to push the envelope on late night television"
"I scream, you scream, well... you know the rest!"
Yeah all of those local news stations are basically getting the same content and don't really bother rewriting it, which makes for some hilarious montages. Not about mind control or whatever youtube commenters believe, just companies cutting costs.

Here's an article that goes into a little more detail http://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/a-local-tv-trend-and-now-the-identical-news/2012/11/27/9369a308-38bd-11e2-8a97-363b0f9a0ab3_story.html
Local news is probably going to go the way of the dinosaurs before long anyway.
