Jinkies, that's nothing like the Harry Potter I remember. I'm glad I got the PC version rather than the Bad Touch Playstation edition.
Wow that was some nostalgia, I still have that game too, and its sequel.
Holy Jesus, that game looks unfairly hard in places especially for children
Oh god I remember this game, some parts were frustrating as hell back then
rons a real shitty friend
I played these games all the time as a kid.
I remember playing Chamber of Secrets for the PS2 and being blown away by the graphics and that you could fly your broom all around hogwarts.
But then I played the PC version and it wasn't even the same game and had shit graphics by comparison.
I played this game a tonne when I was a kid, even think I completed it.
Sometimes I wonder how I even managed to complete games like this at a young age, especially with the shit poor controls that a lot of PS1 games had.
I remember I ended up playing this game so much I could nearly 100% it in like an hour or two.
Looking at it now make me wonder how on earth I managed that.
I still wonder why the PC and PS1 versions differ so greatly. At least the PC version has a more involved final boss fight.
and here's me thinking that quick-time event final bosses were a recent invention

Kids tend to have a lotta moxie. I managed to get halfway through the Philosopher's Stone despite horrendous framerate issues, and after an upgrade managed to beat the rest of the game.
That said many of us retain our moxie in later life. For example, when I played through Shadow Warrior I had framerate issues due to my underpowered machine, but I still had strength and determination in the face of such adversity, and finished that game without much trouble.
Wait, how come Hagrid has money to go get drunk but needs Harry to get money for magic stuff...?

Drink is cheep and strong in Hogwarts.
I still have this game and I have beaten it as a kid, I fucking hated the jumping sections. It was difficult because there is no jump button, Harry hops automatically when you run off ledges.
I completely forgot how disturbing the last boss was though...
Oh my Jesus fuck I hated that knight fight before Voldemort
Hahaha I just want a 10 hour video of that Harry Potter getting raped by Voldemort boss fight.
oh god i remember that mine cart thing it was the worst shit ever
How the fuck did I beat this game as a child? I remember it all being much easier than that

That was the norm for kid's games based on movies.
While my friend was playing a great platformer of the Spongebob Movie, I was playing some bland point and click game.
This looks like something I would find from DeviantArt.

Da Xing or something like that? Wasn't he just in Dead Island, Guns of Icarus, and some streams?
I fucking love Da Xing.
I have an Estonian friend who kind of sounds like Da Xing just less of an accent. I think that entire area is just filled with sweet accents

he died in The Double Diamond Fire in texas a few days ago.
;(
That's bullshit, he literally made this stream 2 days ago. http://www.twitch.tv/da_xing/b/532559169
His steam profile also says he was online 2 hours ago
I still have my Playstation version of this, got too scared to continue after the race with that ghost though (I honestly forget his name, but it's the frustrating platforming race bit)

I remember reading a comment on YT from himself that he works as a narrator for sound books, could've even been children's sound books.

That would be the most amazing thing.
