In high school, I had long hair. A kid cut some off with scissors when I was looking away. It was only a small amount, but it was still infuriating. Nothing gave him the right to do it. Nothing is okay about this. Saying "it'll grow back; nobody got hurt" is not an appropriate excuse. Fingernails grow back too, and you'll survive losing them, but I can tell you - again from firsthand experience - that it's not something you'd ever want to happen.
Cutting off someone's hair without consent is classified as assault and could lead to jail time.
Who the fuck do these assholes think they are? They have no right to go up to random people and cut off their hair just because they don't like it/agree. If someone did something like this to me they'd get the shit kicked out of them, not because of some missing hair but really because they do something to my body without my consent.
Sorry this just pisses me off, on a more silly note what if I didn't like nipples? I can just go run around and snip someones nips off because they're shirtless? But seriously a more plausible example is if, say, I don't like beards or a design on a shirt or something, doesn't mean I can go and cut it off.
