EDIT:Can a moderator please correct the title?I spelled Kyrgyzstan wrong.
I guess the only positive thing out of it is that it was a cargo plane, they do not have much crew on board. Very unfortunate that it hit an populated area.
Here is a pic of the bird before it had its fatal crash. Sucks ass it hit a residential space, that's just shit luck.
At least the black box was found. It was also implied some of the pilots survied. Hopefully we will learn what happened

What a terrible tragedy. With a bit of luck they might have been able to avoid a residential area. Does Kyrgyzstan have the ability to handle the tragedy and its aftermath? Or will the investigation be handled mainly by American and Turkish authorities?

I thought they were always involved when a US-manufactured plane crashed.
Is the plane not US made? I thought they were always involved when a US-manufactured plane crashed.
Yes but I'm not so sure if they'll get involved. The only thing I can see them doing in this is analyzing the black box, unless something out of the ordinary turns up that'll need further investigation. As it stands, this seems more like a Turkey/Kyrgyzstan situation.
Is the plane not US made? I thought they were always involved when a US-manufactured plane crashed.
no, airplane crashes are first controlled by the country of origin, in this case turky, they can bring the NTSB into it if they choose hopefully it was some piss poor maintinence instead of a bomb attack, a cargo plane would be a more difficult target after all.
