I'm keeping my hopes up that they're just bluffing. I mean, this is Adult Swim we're talking about. People thought that "Last Last One Forever and Ever" was the final episode, Matt has (or had) no plans to end the series in the future, and there's still a second ATHF movie coming out this year.

Well Adult Swim is going down the shitter anyways, cancelling shows, not greenlighting good ones, heard theres tons of issues with the management going on too.
We might see Adult Swim die within these 5 years. It's going to turn into another G4.

I swear to god the only thing that's preventing from stopping to watch Adult Swim altogether is King of the Hill and Toonami and even then they reduced the block hours to 3 hours now.

Been watching ATHF since I was in year 2, I remember I'd play around with my food thinking they were the characters, yeah I never understood the show until I eventually grew up
But fuck ATHF is like my favourite adult swim show just behind Moral Orel, it's a shame they're going to cancel it
It's been on air since 2000 since it's first premier on Cartoon Network before the [as] block, the very early plot was shown on CN during the graveyard shift so nobody took any attention to it, but it's been running for 14-15 years

I still love Moral Orel to bits, season 1 made it seem like a mediocre comedy but when you got into season 2 and season 3, [B]holy fuck[/B]

But the way they pulled it off was beautiful, I still regard it as a show too rich to even be on adult swim

show spoilers - [sp]that scene involved Clay's mum dying because he faked a gunshot wound with his father's "old gunny". It's the reason why Clay never gave Orel the Puppington tradition because he had flashbacks about it.[/sp]
But the show deals a lot with the failures in marriage and how religion tears people apart not brings them together, also a bunch of other shit

I think they said "summer" Yeah im super hyped for it. Venture Bros gets better every season and the Season 6 special they already put out was amazing. They do like to take their sweet ass time between seasons but its always worth it.

I can possibly see why they pulled this episode when it was in development
Not really with Boston but joking about post-9/11 at the time this episode was made properly would've made Cartoon Network get un-wanted attention
However I found all the placeholder images and basically the unfinished animation to be funnier compared to when it's all finished and coloured
