Sorry for the thread title, not sure how to put it in words, so I will describe with pictures.
I'm in charge for designing this 8 oz paper cup, and this is the template I'm given.

As you can see, it is arching.
How should I proceed to arch my design so it fits the template?
What are you designing with? Is this by hand or digital or what? I don't quite understand.
Digital.
Illustrator and Photoshop.
I think I'll suffice with bitmap but if it's better to do it with vector I'll use Illustrator.
As long as you don't have text or something that might actually be really obvious when bent, you should just draw on that template and save the hassle.
The function in PS that i know for this needs it all to be rendered, i'd avoid rendering when doing something for print.
I'd recommend Illustrator. You can make everything you want flat and then warp it to fit the shape of the template.
if you are using photoshop you can use free transfom and warp it to desired shape

That's a bad idea because if it's going to be printed it'll need to be a bitchin resolution to hold up against pixilation. It will be even harder to do without pixilation because he'll be warping.
Illustrator is your homie.

I agree that Illustrator is the way to go, but it shouldn't be too hard to avoid pixelation if he decides to do it in PS. Just make sure that the width of the canvas matches the longer arc of the circular template and it should work.
That way it won't be stretching anything, only shrinking - which resampling should handle.
