“We’re buying ZIMMERMAN a NEW GUN - We need your help,” reads the title of the article on the Buckeye Firearms Association’s website that has garnered the attention of media outlets in the past few days. “We have created the Zimmerman Second Amendment Fund. We encourage you to donate whatever you can afford, $100 … $50 … $25 … even just $10. We will provide Mr. Zimmerman, who has no current source of income, with the funds he needs to replace his firearm, holster, and other gear.,” reads a release by the organization.
http://www.whiotv.com/news/news/crim...new-gun/nYx9M/ I've also included a link to the PAC for anyone who is interested towards donating to Georgie's new firearm. Hes going to need it.
It's sad that this even needs to occur. Because of a (most likely) self-defense case of which the verdict was contested by many, some of those people have led him to now legitimately need protection. Dunno why this guy hasn't just been given a new identity, his life is fucking ruined because of this case.
Can't anyone in the US get a fair decent amount of gear for under $500? Glock, Beretta usually are cheap, and still reliable. While being 9mm, it'd be cheap enough. But I suppose for Zimmerman it would be difficult at this time. I'm sure not many people want to hire someone that killed someone and went through rigorous trials, and no is being protested against by thousands.
Seeing how people are reacting to this, we should give him a tank or an AFV
Donated $50. [sp]huehuehuehuehuehue[/sp]
Wait wait wait wait. So they acknowledge that he has no source of income and instead of giving him the money from the donations to buy food and such, they want to buy him a gun? Also article is down. At least for me.
this is disgusting i can't even look at this

Prices typically range $550-$600 depending on the dealer. There is also the issue of ongoing ammo shortages still. Things are significantly better right now, but nowhere near pre-Sandy Hook panic buying. 9mm is still one of the harder rounds to find because of it's popularity.

So yes, you can get a lot for under $500.
He doesn't need a gun. He needs a bunker.

Lancaster Ohio if anything is overstocked in 9mm. I can get five boxes of 30 rounds for $60.

do you really want to donate to a gun corporation lobby group though?
lets buy him an AR-15.
Hang on, didn't he sue some newspapers or something? He can buy his guns himself.
I can't help but think that it's redundant. Not only was he offered his weapon back, many people offered a weapon him already.
