• Suggestions for Piano learning?

Recently got a 66-key Microstation that I intend to use for learning piano music, and I'm looking for some good chord or arpeggio-rich beginner/intermediate songs. I already know basic major triad chords and one relatively simple song("Statues" by Foo Fighters). Any help would be appreciated!
Actually going trough the books of pianoforall at the moment. Helped me quite a bit till now, didn't finish them yet so I can't really bring an honest verdict. There's a lot of "self help piano books" nowadays that use alternative methods to learning how to play the piano. The thing I liked about pianoforall is that it has the basics, but also jazz and blues styles. Next to this you learn how to play improvisational ballad songs and in the end even some classical music. [editline]14th January 2014[/editline] Plus he has a money back guarantee which is neat. I appreciate the offer, and I've found some books I might consider buying. However, as a college kid, I'd really prefer to find some free sheet music for modern music. If that's a near-impossible task, then I'll just buy the books instead. Just trying to minimize my budget.

If you are wanting to head more in the classical direction, I really recommend getting a Czerny method book. It has helped me a lot with fingering technique. If you are looking for free sheet music I would use http://imslp.org/, it has tons and tons of piano music, along with full orchestral scores and other things. I use it often to find music to help me improve my piano technique and also help me with composing by seeing how other composers scored their music.
I'm sure you've heard this before, but never ever stop practicing. Never skip a day if at all possible.

Mm I'd honestly reccommened a bigger keyboard, 66 is just way too limiting. 76 is a good number

I'll check it out though, thanks!
Mm I'd honestly reccommened a bigger keyboard, 66 is just way too limiting. 76 is a good number
I realized that, unfortunately. I bought the MicroStation mainly for synth leads and whatnot, but I figured it'd be nice to figure out a few piano tricks here and there lol
