So I always thought that kush just meant good weed but lately I've gotten the impression from my dealer that kush is specifically indica. Like, I bought some weed and I asked him if it was the same stuff I bought a few days earlier ('cause I really enjoyed it, bouncy high) and he was like "no, this is kush" and I was like "what was it on wednesday?" and he told me it was sativa. I don't get it, is sativa supposed to be bad? Or does kush not necessarily refer to the quality and more the fact that it comes from the middle east and is therefore kush?
also why do people like indica more than sativa? it gets me tired and anxious and stupid and hungry. sativa gets me active and like, trippy.
How would he know it's Sativa, but not the strain? I think he's bullshitting you.
it was definitely sativa, I do know what sativa buds look like. I think the strain was soft or something
I didn't know they had a certain look...the leaves maybe, the bud?
Looked around a little, apparently it's the strain's original birth area, the Hindu Kush mountains.

Kush is from the the Hindu Kush mountains, and it thrives in the climates of the Middle East, and other deserts. It's primarily indica, but some kush strains have been crossed with sativa. The best way to tell the difference of sativa and indica, is to judge the high. Sativa is a mental high, Indica is a body high. I really don't think the buds look any different(unless colored?).

Shady dealers may label shit as kush just so you buy it. Frankly, in my opinion, I don't care for Kush that much.
Now names don't really mean shit unless you're talking to the grower

sativa and indica are different plants
cannabis sativa is a plant, tall and branchy leaves
cannabis indica is another plant, shorter and bigger leaves.
they happen to produce different highs.
The stuff I have right now is Orange Kush. It's not that it's not potent, I just don't like the drowsy high it produces. I most definitely prefer sativa from now on.

green bud is usually sativa.
darker bud is usually indica.
there are exceptions, but this is what i've found to be true. if you have really light green bud, it's usually always sativa. the smell is different too.
I don't know but kush is all I ever buy.
kush tastes like shit. my opinion. except for strawberry kush. I stay smoking that granddaddy purp.

okay well then "kush" sucks ass. it tastes bad and the high it gives you sucks dick. sativa highs are fucking sick and like 10% of the time I smoke sativa i get pretty cool shrooms flashbacks. the $45 i spent on an eighth of bubble kush on the urging of my friend was one of the biggest disappointments in my life.

Then you just don't like predominantly indica strains.
Indica = body high
Sativa = head high
if i want a cool body high I'll do shrooms or drink. weed body highs suck.

kush refers to the Hindu Kush mountain range where marijuana grows naturally and a lot of times, for harvest.
