Evidently it wasn't shown at E3 because of its shitty framerates. http://fredo.3d.free.fr/bloodborne.mp4 It keeps getting removed from youtube so I've provided a different mirror.
Christ half the game runs like blight town. I hope it ends up as optimized as Dark Souls 2 was.
It's beautiful.
I hope they add a lot of variety in terms of ranged weaponry, we've only seen shotgun-like things.
God dammit, I really don't want a console, but I also really want to play Demon's Souls and this.
fhsgsNHIRgdHNghdnh FUCK I hate being poor I want this on pc so baaaaaaaad
I hope they add a lot of variety in terms of ranged weaponry, we've only seen shotgun-like things.
They've said they don't intend on doing something you can snipe with, it'll be close range when it comes to guns.
Will this only be for the PS4?
Will this only be for the PS4?
Most certainly yes.

I mean its a given guns are still rudimentary in the era the games set in.
Love the enemy design!

Instead of blocking attacks and punishing their stagger, you just stagger them first. At least that's how I hope it works. If there's a huge delay or forced reload i'd rather just dodge roll.
By the sounds of things, Dual wielding double barrel shotties seem out of the question. I would end up making it a personal mission to blitz through the game with just using Shotguns, no doubt. The framerate is a little off, so I can understand they used the CGI trailer for revealing Bloodborne instead of pure gameplay. But fuck me would it cause hype.
That game is so gothic that it makes gargoyles fall out of my screen.
-NO SHIELDS -Victorian Setting -No Heavy Armor -There will be a shotgun in the offhand slot that serves to stagger enemies. -More enemies to face at a time (up to 8-9) -A dash/sidestep alongside the roll. -A one hit attack to staggered opponents, similar to the backstab, except executable anywhere on the enemy. -ENEMY PLACEMENTS ARE RANDOM; when the bell rings, enemies will roam and scatter to other places. -BOSS PLACEMENTS ARE RANDOM (you will get locked into an area with soul gates upon the encounter.) -There will be weapons that have two modes, like the "flip scythe" seen in the reveal trailer.
and you took that from... ?
discussion about bloodborne from giantbomb between patrick and brad after they saw the bloodborne demo at e3.
There was a video I saw the other day of this of them demoing live gameplay to devs in a private room or some shit at E3. Shit was tanking hard, like it was having a real hard time probably breaking 20 fps and was pretty much always 10-15 by the looks of it. Really smart of them to not show that to the public it was pretty embarrassing, it was chugging like this when it was almost nothing on screen, it was like a wall and a ladder. Still looks amazing and I have complete faith the FPS is gonna be fixed, this shit isnt probably coming for another year at the very least but most likely 2 years.
well, expect another graphical downgrade then
