CopyPasta: Plot: An asbestos abatement crew wins the bid for an abandoned insane asylum. What should be a straightforward, if rather rushed, job, is complicated by the personal histories of the crew. In particular, Hank is dating Phil's old girlfriend, and Gordon's new baby seems to be unnerving him more than should be expected. Things get more complicated as would-be lawyer Mike plays the tapes from a former patient with multiple personalities, including the mysterious Simon who does not appear until Session 9, and as Hank disappears after finding some old coins. Cast: David Caruso ... Phil Stephen Gevedon ... Mike Paul Guilfoyle ... Bill Griggs Josh Lucas ... Hank Peter Mullan ... Gordon Fleming Brendan Sexton III ... Jeff Charley Broderick ... Security Guard (as Charles Broderick) Lonnie Farmer ... Doctor (voice) Larry Fessenden ... Craig McManus Sheila Stasack ... Wendy (voice)
I love this movie. The atmosphere is just great.
I've always meant to watch this. Might see if I can get hold of it tonight.
It's fantastic, an A+ movie.
I've always meant to watch this. Might see if I can get hold of it tonight.
It's really great, just don't expect a horror movie. It's more about suspense and an unsettling atmosphere.
This is one of my favorite movies of all time. I love the fact that it takes place in an actual insane asylum....although Danvers State Hospital(Danvers, Massachusetts) has since been demolished and turned into condos. At the time that the movie was made it had been abandoned nine years, and the dilapidated scenery just added to the creepiness. I was on the edge of my seat the entire movie honestly......it really gives you a sense of dread at times, especially the night scenes. If you love psychological thrillers this is the movie for you.
Fuck yes. I LOVE this movie. Have the soundtrack, too. I try to make anyone I can watch it. [editline]02:25PM[/editline]
It's fantastic, an A+ movie.
A++++ movie. Also, one of the first shot on digital film, which works for it. Also, Stephen Gevedon, Mike, is the writer of the film. And my favorite character.
I saw this one a long, long time ago. I don't remember too much about it other than I was pretty confused at it all.

I love this movie and live near where the hospital used to be
GOD DAMMIT I CAN'T FIND MY COPY. Shit.
Creepy fucking movie. Couldn't move from my couch for about 10 minutes after it finished. It was definitely a nice change from your every day ghost movie.
