With a letter of no confidence already in circulation but only a small number of signatures so far, several MPs said on Monday that May was safe until summer – with colleagues desperate to get to the parliamentary recess and have a break. But they believed plotting against her would continue after the summer break, with some determined to have her replaced by David Davis, Boris Johnson, Philip Hammond or another senior figure by Christmas.[/quote] It looked for a while like May had managed to magically avert crisis in the party, but nah
I have to wonder if the Tory party will be portrayed in the media as just as chaotic and divided as labour was during it's own internal struggles. The fact that Corbyn butted heads with some of the more right wing elements of Labour was treated as a huge issue to party stability. Somehow I'm guessing it will be less of a big deal when aspects of May's party want to be rid of her.

He justified his position, another leadership vote happened and he still won it (because the other guy was pure slime taken human form). May suffering the same will be an undeniable shitshow however, she wasn't elected, she merely inherited the position because everyone else was too coward to follow through on Brexit (knowing full well it was a dumb idea it seems). Not only does she have to justify her positions, but also justify her even being in that role in the first place, nobody actually asked her to be there after all. She just is there.

Even so it will be interesting, as always ,to observe just how much leeway the Tories are given when they face issues similar to those that were apparently "cataclysmic portents of utter failure!!" when Labour faced them not so long ago.
I wonder where Australia learned its wacky political party behaviours from?
It's hilarious seeing just how quickly the right wing is falling to pieces recently.
