This is part one of the double feature "Grindhouse". Planet Terror isn't as much a zombie movie as much as a zombie mutant movie. I didn't see anybody get back up and become a zombie, but there is flesh eating, let me assure you. I won't give away the plot as you should just see it without knowing anything. That's what I did, and I'm VERY satisfied. I picked up this movie on Blu Ray for 15 dollars and it was 2 discs, which is already a good deal. Like I said, I won't give away the plot, but I will give this away. this is one of the most graphically violent movies I have ever seen and it is also one of the most entertaining. There's people's faces being melted, infected penises getting melted off, blood blisters being popped and rubbed all over people's faces and much much more. It goes a bit far on the gore, but that's one of the reasons I liked it so much. It's supposed to be an "exploitation film" and it's also supposed to be a bad movie, but that's why it's so much fun. I URGE YOU to see this movie. If you like gore, then this is the movie of your dreams. 9/10
This movie was a TON of fun to watch in theaters. Which reminds me that I still need to get the DVD.

I loved this movie, especially the insanely huge blood squib effects exploding out of people.
dude, get the blu ray if you can, it's totally worth it.
That's the plan. Hopefully they sell it by itself because I don't want Death Proof, that movie was just boring.
No it wasn't. It was a better movie.
That's the plan. Hopefully they sell it by itself because I don't want Death Proof, that movie was just boring.
Death Proof was exciting, slower paced, but just as good movie. I love Quentin Tarantino.
the balls... oh god!
the balls... oh god!
tell me how to tag pictures, and I'll put up a screenshot >:P
I heard there was talks of an extended edition coming this October.
pretty awesome movie. Watched it with friends at my house a while back.
That's the plan. Hopefully they sell it by itself because I don't want Death Proof, that movie was just boring.
are you kidding? death proof was great.
I feel sorry for that dog that got run over by that Super-Truck.
I loved this movie. I'm pretty sure that all you need to say to get people to understand the general tone of this movie is that there is a chick with a machine gun for a leg.
I need to check this out sometime.
Great film. That little kid in the car was a retard though.
Great film. That little kid in the car was a retard though.
When that happened though I was like, "Oh of course that little fuck would do that, with his creepy pets n' shit." The movie has such disgusting effects I love it.
Great film. That little kid in the car was a retard though.
Hurr durr, I'm gonna shoots mahself LUL K?!!
I didn't particularly like Death Proof because for the most part it was just trailer trash whores discussing their dull and uneventful lives. Oh and Kurt Russel was in there somewhere. Yes, I know Tarantino films are all about the dialogue but in contrast to Planet Terror it was gigantic step down in my book. Maybe I'll watch it again some day, only saw it once alongside Planet Terror at the theater.
How can it be a step down? Potential SPOILERS in this argument! Tarantino's penis disitagrates as he tries to rape someone, and then he gets kiled. This then subliminally puts the image of bad things happening when you try and rape someone. Therefore this film deters potential rapists. Planet terror - 1 Rapists - 0

This movie fucking rules.
The only reason why people didn't like Death Proof was because it came right after Planet Terror, an adrenaline-fueled blood'n'guts extravaganza, and they couldn't adjust themselves to the slower pace.
Tarantino's scene near the end was great. 'I've seen me some crazy ass shit in my day, but I ain't never seen me a one legged stripper'. The other soldier was Greg Kelly, a soldier and broadcaster.# I think this is the best trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0AaVUs3-Pw
I own the DVD. It's such a fucking classic! Loved it so much! The only part I "remotely" liked was the ending. I actually saw it before I saw Planet Terror.
I liked Death Proof, but where the hell was the trademark Tarantino dialogue? The girls were so boring! Outside of the US, you can't get it as the 'Grindhouse' feature, only seperately.
Disintegrating penises? Rape? I like this movie already :q:
I have to say, this was one of the weirdest, yet one of the best films I have seen.
The story was a bit confusing.
The story was a bit confusing.
Go watch Inception. Great movie.
Death Proof.
