Here we see the germans being denied air supplies by the land sharking Kukuruznik.
Didn't know that a 7.62 mm machine gun was capable of that.
It was pretty awesome when that plane appeared from the dust.
Didn't know that a 7.62 mm machine gun was capable of that.
shoot rotor engine, catches fire and explodes, severs wing
Didn't know that a 7.62 mm machine gun was capable of that.
shoot wing full of fuel explosion
That was spectacular. I've always liked your videos.
i have this game and it's fun but i am just so ffffffffucking bad at it
Man, I haven't played in ages.
I wish I could get my copy of Il-2 to pull off physics like those. Every time someone crashes on my copy, the plane just goes into the ground, then pops back out again with a lot of force.
You must have realistic landings turned off. I think that's it anyway.
Well, I played the thing as a child, so I probably had everything realistic set to off. Thanks though.
I am so terrible at this game...
You can fly that in 1946? I don't have that in my options, the little biplane :s
I used to be great at IL-2, I haven't played for years, does anyone still play it?
You can fly that in 1946? I don't have that in my options, the little biplane :s
Just about any major mod pack gives you the AI only planes as flyable.
I remember playing with Orkel and a bunch of other facepunchers. Just dicking around. Was great fun. Amazing footage really. Looks really cool.
I used to be great at IL-2, I haven't played for years, does anyone still play it?
A new one just came out so im gonna say yes
A new one just came out so im gonna say yes
The new one isnt as good as 1946 but 1946 has been in development for 7 years also http://steamcommunity.com/groups/FPIL2 we may play soon just spam profan and 2nd47
I don't understand why they named the series after a plane, if the plane itself is no fun to fly. [editline]28th December 2011[/editline] def. getting the new one once price drops.
Realistically, the ME-323 flak gunners would have demolished that bi-plane from 10 feet away.
Why can't movies have more scenes like this?
Why can't movies have more scenes like this?
Because all Hollywood spews at us is watered down garbage.
Because all Hollywood spews at us is watered down garbage.
Good point.
Why can't movies have more scenes like this?
because that is to un realistic for hollywood. If the wing gunner fucked up that dive bomber at 70 mph, how did a biplane survive. Still amazing though, props to any pilot who keeps their joystick from wavering
Whenever I encounter any situation like this when I'm a PE-8 taking off I just procrastinate, wait for the fighter to get close enough, and drop the 2000kg bomb incinerating us both :v:
Jesus fuck, what a video.
This is and probably always will be the best WW2 flight sim ever created in our life times. Always have it installed and play it once every few days at minimum.
I fucking LOVE il2, we should play some time. I will kill you all
Realistically, the ME-323 flak gunners would have demolished that bi-plane from 10 feet away.
I practiced this many times, and they most certainly do. The two most powerful cannons are on the tops of the wings, but as long as you get underneath them fast enough you're practically safe as long as you don't linger beside the nose. That said however, I did cheat when making the video and gave the plane an empty loadout, but I have shot it down while it was shooting back aswell. I didn't like the fact the AI can see through the dust cloud and be firing at me before I've even appeared.

Try Ultr@ pack instead.
