President Ricardo Martinelli told local media that the ship, which was sailing from Cuba, contained suspected "sophisticated missile equipment". He posted a photo of what looked like a large green object inside a cargo container on his Twitter account.
Nice to see North Korea in the news again.
That's... slightly worrying.
Cuban Missile Crisis 2 averted.
Should've known Cuba was in with NK
Damn it North Korea. Take a nap.
This is only what was intercepted
He finds what could be a nuclear capable missile.. ..posts it on twitter.
Cuban Missile Crisis 2 averted.
Cuban Missile Crisis 2: Nuclear Boogaloo ???
Cuban Missile Crisis 2: Nuclear Boogaloo ???
First one was already both nuclear, and boogalooish. This one's tagline would be more like "Cuban missile crisis 2: North of the 38th" or something suspenseful like that.
I thought they had put a sun lounger on top of it at first, didn't really seem to surprise me as it is NK
He finds what could be a nuclear capable missile.. ..posts it on twitter.
Why not? Snowden acts similarly but hes a good guy
That's... slightly worrying.
No it isn't. North Korea aren't going to set the world on fire, ever.

It might not amount to anything, but if it does...
isn't this how mercenaries started

There is no point in being afraid of North Korea if you live in the USA, Europe or pretty much anywhere else. North Korea is not retarded and knows that if it did attack any of those countries, it literally has no benefit to North Korea. [editline]16th July 2013[/editline] The last time North Korea appeared to be starting shit, it was just doing that to simply bolster the morale of their people since they were going through a slight famine.

V2s hitting London in WW2 caused thousands of casualties, at least one causing more than 200 fatalities. I don't want to see what happens if a modern rocket lands in a packed Japanese city, with a much higher population density.

It would have to be traveling fast enough to outpace a missile defense system (which is pretty hard unless you overwhelm with numbers since NK probably doesnt have the tech) or a mirv system and that way out of the question for NK. [editline]16th July 2013[/editline] I would be more worried about artillery barrages at the border since its easier to use/produce/hard to stop.

Missile defense systems are far from even good. Because its literally like hitting one bullet with another. While it can be done its hard. I do think DPRK would be retarded to launch but they have a history of doing retarded things.

Looks like a relatively small missile, probably for medium-small range attacks.
later identified to be a huge thermos
Yes.. a thermos full of Heavy Water! whatatweest.jpg
later identified to be a huge thermos
Filled with Cognac for Kimmy
This country is so small the president is able to be literally present in every single somewhat significant event that happens in here, I'm serious. "There's an unpatched hole in this avenue!" "Don't worry citizens, I will order the Ministry of transportation to fix it right away!! *takes pics*" [editline]16th July 2013[/editline] Also you forgot to add in the article that the crew captain committed suicide
isn't this how mercenaries started
Yeah, though it was Australian soldiers that recovered the missiles. So North Korea's carting missile components through South America from Cuba, and it only gets a five-minute slot on the PBS evening news? Something is... Off about that.
