HOLY SHIT I never thought Activision could be so generous with an awesome pack of content that was deliberately removed during development at an inflated price DLC OF THE YEAR ALL YEARS
Wow, what a deal! Will get this asap! ...people must be dumb to buy this...
If Treyarch ever release modding tools, people can make maps that looks 800 times better than this, absolutely free.
Nice maps but horribly overpriced
i hate the way gaming producers makes 6 expansion packs or DLC's, they are making shitloads of money on it though. look at world of warcraft, you need to buy 4 damn games to have access to 100% and then you has to buy gaming card(s)
look at world of warcraft, you need to buy 4 damn games to have access to 100%
Yeah, making an entirely new continent with 2 new races, appropriate starting zones and lore and new content for said continent should totally be free, right?
and then you has to buy gaming card(s)
Read up on maintaining servers before you make such idiotic remarks.
Yeah, making an entirely new continent with 2 new races, appropriate starting zones and lore and new content for said continent should totally be free, right? Read up on maintaining servers before you make such idiotic remarks.
TF2 Think about it
TF2 Think about it
At least in TF2 you have a .001% chance to get the content from drops.
At least in TF2 you have a .001% chance to get the content from drops.
Yeah. I was implying that TF2 has been constantly updated for free for four years.
Yeah. I was implying that TF2 has been constantly updated for free for four years.
You're also implying TF2 updates are just as big as WoW expansions, are you not?
I really want this, just for the new zombie map. Too bad it costs so much for so little.
Where the fuck are our free promised maps and mod tools, Fagvision?
I really want this, just for the new zombie map. Too bad it costs so much for so little.
To camp in a new place? [editline]25th March 2011[/editline]
Where the fuck are our free promised maps and mod tools, Fagvision?
I remember mod tools but promised free DLC?
You're also implying TF2 updates are just as big as WoW expansions, are you not?
I find a steady stream of small, free updates to be better than a huge singular(though sometimes glorious) shit that costs 50$ every year And even then there's monthly subscriptions
I find a steady stream of small, free updates to be better than a huge singular(though sometimes glorious) shit that costs 50$ every year
Just a reminder, you don't need the expansions to get the new updates, you know. All you're getting are the new zones and races. As for your '50 bucks every year', TBC came out 2 years after the base game. WOTLK one year after. Cataclysm 2 years after that. 3 expansions in 5 years time.
And even then there's monthly subscriptions
Oh boohoo, I need to pay for WoW. At the basic plan, that's about 14-15 euros a month you're paying. These guys have a massive amount of servers they need to maintain, where else are they going to get the money to maintain the servers and develop new content?

And you're also getting all the quests, enemies, bosses, and items when you buy expansion packs. I only said "every year" because I have no idea of the actual amount of time between updates but I don't think it's a very good idea to buy the same game over and over again every two years and then have to pay more every month.
I mean CONTENT updates, not just bugfixes.
Guess what the next patch will be adding?
And you're also getting all the quests, enemies, bosses, and items when you buy expansion packs.
Extra content that justifies the price, doesn't it? Besides, guess where all that stuff is found? You guessed it, the new continents!
I only said "every year" because I have no idea of the actual amount of time between updates but I don't think it's a very good idea to buy the same game over and over again every two years and then have to pay more every month.
Are you gonna keep whining about having to pay so Blizzard can actually keep WoW alive?

I'm saying That World of Warcraft is a bit overpriced for what it is.
It's not a content pack, it's just a map pack. Why call it a content pack if it only gives you one form of content?
Where the fuck are our free promised maps and mod tools, Fagvision?
Robert Kotick: What does "free" mean?
The DLCs for grand theft auto 4 cost around as much, and with lost and damned / ballad of gay tony you almost got a new game, new vehicles, new weapons, new characters, new missions and new activities. With call of duty map packs you just get 5 maps.

You wouldn't say that keeping a mansion clean and tidy costs just as much as keeping the house your average Joe lives in, right?
No, thank you.
well I just "won" a code from oneofswords, let's see if this ascension can re-light my zombie love

Yeah no, at least do something akin to World at War and force Intel to subsidize it
