Investigations are continuing after a teenage girl was raped by two men on a double decker bus in Glasgow.
The attack happened on the top deck of the 57 bus as it left the Silverburn shopping centre in Pollok, Glasgow, at about 22:30 last Friday night.
The 14-year-old sat downstairs with a friend but then moved to the upper deck where she was assaulted and raped by two men.
Police have appealed for other passengers to come forward.
Is this bus fetish the new thing or something?
Okay. Never using public buses again.
I've run out of things to say about rape now. I guess the only thing to do is rate friendly.
I retract my previous assertion. Also, that fucking sucks.
pedophiles is the most immense gorgon faggots i ever seen.
Both of the attackers are said to be aged around 18 to 20.
One is about 5ft 10in, with a shaved head and wearing a black jumper.
The other man has brown, spiky hair and was wearing a tracksuit which may have been grey, with a body warmer or jacket.
pretty sure they left out a piece of info that would make identifying them a lot easier

Why not say it outright? Besides, one had brown hair. That fulfills the requirement for one half, doesn't it?
Yeah, the girl did something pretty idiotic though - You do not go upstairs alone on a late night bus if you're a woman.
I am not saying "She deserved it" before anyone tries to spin it that way, I'm saying use some common sense - Yeah, she shouldn't have to worry about that and it's horrible that in our society she has to, but whilst she does, you think about these things. Safety 101.
Hope they catch the bastards and they get a proper sentence for this (Read: Life)

That'd be as intolerably racist as determining the race of a suspect via DNA evidence.

uh
I'm not from around there but is the top layer always considered the equivalent of a back alley or something

I think it's more like... The bus driver can't see what's going on up there, and when there aren't many people around...
Come to think of it, Delhi has double-decker buses too. I wonder if those assaults went on on the top section.
Some people just don't give fucks. In all seriousness yolo.
Okay. Never using public buses again.
Because people rape males right?
Because people rape males right?
Yep.

Here all the buses have at least 1 camera at the top so the bus driver can see what is going on.
If Glasgow didn't have those, they will soon.
Wait, unless you live in Glasgow.

Oh boy here we go again
Oh boy here we go again
Nobody said shit about it, don't start shit, Desuh.
Because people rape males right?
It happens less for obvious reasons, but it still happens. Especially in environments where there is mostly/all males.
The big picture is, some people just realize why not do something when the worst thing that could happen is death. And if it's gonna happen anyways, why fucking not rape, kill, provide, nurture, survive etc...

No one really should go upstairs alone on the bus at night.
This is horrible, however a 14 year old sitting on the top deck of the bus on one of the late night buses on a Friday night isn't the greatest idea

Was the top layer of a bus ever considered dangerous?

What the fuck
I find it odd that she was originally on the lower deck before moving up to the top deck to speak to the two guys - did she know them?
I also find it odd that she was raped and the three people who helped her didn't stop the two men from escaping, nor did they go to the police station to assist in catching them.. It doesn't make sense..
i thought double decker buses had a system of mirrors that allows the driver to see the top deck? im sure there was one the last time i used the bus

You've never been to Glasgow, have you?

Exactly. Late night busses, so you've got drunk people, not many people around, and the driver generally can't see what's going on up there, because the cameras aren't great and he's got to drive the bus too.
I mean, if people fuck on a bus (which sadly does happen in some of the shadier parts of Glasgow), it's going to be up there. It's not a huge leap of the imagination from that to rape. And it should be common sense, don't seperate yourself from everybody else.
Edit:
They do BadHand, but they often get vandalised and if it's a bus with cameras then they're generally really shittily placed so it's not hard to stay out of their view. (And apparently common sense is dumb now, thanks guys)

What the hell are you talking about?
(And apparently common sense is dumb now, thanks guys)
I just thought it was really unnecessary to say something like that. How the hell is thinking that you might get raped on a public bus 22:30 on a Friday night common sense? I don't think she was consciously looking for trouble or anything.
And perhaps she wasn't even aware that, for some reason, buses don't record stuff on the upper deck, or that it is supposedly generally accepted that Glasgow public buses are horrible?
You are only slightly justifying what they did, you are making up excuses for the rapists. They shouldn't have any fucking excuses.
