A lot of other forums have this and I think it would bring the animal lovers of fp together into a nice big group. I think we should have an animals/pets subforum in Lifestyle and Hobbies.

Agreed, pets threads seem to gunk up GD quite a lot.
If you want something done, don't make a poll. If anything you could PM and ask garry directly, which would still probably warrant a no.
If we keep going, we will have nothing left in GD.

It worked with Film and Television.
If we have too many sub-forums, GD would become a ghost town.
50,000 members used to post here, now it's a ghost town.
Film and Television is a logical sub-forum though.
If this was made into one, it would just be to get rid of the few threads there are in GD about pets. Film and Television has a vast amount of content on the other hand.
True. I still thikn Film and Television should be a sub-forum on GD instead of its own beast. I hate a busy front page. Didn't we used to have a pets subforum anyway? Where did that get to?
Pretty sure that we never did. It as probably a custom forum.
