but I'm for it. Why? Because, why can't they make it? it seems like a legitmately good movie just not for me. I feel like this is flawless as a kids movie. Disney is very stellar when it comes to movies, and make very wonderful movies for everyone, and, hey, Monsters Inc was good, so, why not?

I would rather of a sequel where Boo is a teen/preteen and has a sibling that somehow gets tied up with the monster world or something. Still looks decent though.
I wish they tied it more to the first movie, I don't like this whole university storyline.

They still have some original ideas. Brave and upcoming movies like The Good Dinosaur and The Inside Out.

Not saying it's not possible to carry on over that, but it already had a sequel/continuation from that hook through a video game.

Yeah that's true but Cars was made in 2006 so Cars 2 seemed to really made for kids since it was only made 5 years later. Pixar seems to still keep that touch they had making sequels of older cartoony movies because they know that people in their teens and even older than that will watch them since they did when they were kids. Toy Story 3 was still a really good movie and this one looks like it'll be good too.

Im pumped for it, id rather have a prequel cause I like how Monsters Inc finished and it doesnt need a sequel, what would they even do with an older Boo?
But im calling it now, the movies gonna end with Mike and Sully just remembering all this and probably telling Boo about it, then it ends.

I know what you mean. Pixar films are usually made with the principal of 'Make a film for adults, with content suitable for children'.
This just seems like an out and out children's film. Having said that, I'm obviously going to watch it.
