Didn't ask for this
*had to*
It's "I never asked for this"
I find the idea of augmentations intriguing, and i hope in the future we will atleast be able to replace something damaged with an augmentation of equal quality of the original object.
That eye camera thing, man.
Really fucking sweet that they're able to do stuff like this.

The only problem with transhumanism is the edge it would give someone in life. It would separate the rich and the poor so much more, to the point where you have homeless people on one end and wealthy on the other with nearly nothing between them.
That and the moral debates, but I find the impact that it would have on the social classes is much more important than the fact that you're tampering with "what god intended".
i felt all warm and fuzzy watching this :)
If I would have to guess, prosthetic legs are much further along because they are simpler than anything else.
I love stuff like this, it gives hope to disabled people
The narrator should be a spy. Hidden camera? What hidden camera?
Very cool. Interesting with his theories. By 2027 we could have prosthetic limbs with the capability of that in deus ex. Also with the ethical debates over replacing organic parts with artificial.
Guess you could say... his vision is augmented.
Did they seriously need to show the doctors cutting his eye out
fuck
If they made that guy's eye camera more subtle it would be even more badass than it already is

They should add blue leds and watercooling
Thanks for showing the eye surgery.
Christ on a bike this shit is amazing.
When can I have sunglasses built into my face, and sword-chisels built into my arms?
After watching this, I feel like chopping my own arms off so I could be able to get bionic arms. Then I remembered that I'm poor... I will always ask for this.
Thanks for showing the eye surgery.
Quit bitching. I had to go through that 8 times.
I wonder what would it be like to see out of the eye you are having surgery on.
Quit bitching. I had to go through that 8 times.
ok, im sorry that happened to you, but people are more sensitive to gore than others
Reminds me a lot of the world of "Ghost in the Shell".
I wonder what would it be like to see out of the eye you are having surgery on.
You would have to be awake
that would suck
Its kinda disturbing some people want to chop their limbs off to get bionic arms and legs and all that
Its kinda disturbing some people want to chop their limbs off to get bionic arms and legs and all that
I would if if I could do the things in dues ex.
For like the first minute I thought his eye was fake.
Anyone have the source of the music from 10:20 to 11:55?
EMPs could be a problem.
Having a processor fry up in your brain doesn't seem healthy.

I'm pretty sure that when we get that far, we will find a way to prevent that.
Did they seriously need to show the doctors cutting his eye out
fuck
I've got a video here somewhere of someone slicing into their own finger with a piercing needle, sticking a neodymium disk into the hole and then stitching it back up without anaesthetic in their kitchen if you enjoyed that so much :v:

Actually legs are one of the trickiest things to make. It's little wonder we had cameras decades before we had a bipedal robot.
