Like I said, Bethesda would never involve "code-cracking" in their advertising for video games. Their audience is not known to be particularly smart people.

Okay this isnt quite right.
If you go back and check, in January, Three Dogs vocie actor, Erik Dellums, teased Fallout 4 on his twitter, and later explicitly stated Bethesda gave him permission, then, a few weeks ago, he started doing it again.
this is why i hate viral marketing, its just stupid, if you have a game in the works and its almost done just confirm something, its like the 343 studios going dark for a year then sayin "nope no halos here"
Oh well, back to speculating.
