• PlayStation Plus Error? Killzone 3 Discount Vanishes

[IMG]http://www.analoghype.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/killzone-3-discount-sham.png[/IMG] Yesterday evening around 7:30pm EST, Sony’s PlayStation Store was updated, the high point for some was the release of the Killzone 3 Multiplayer which entitled you to the full multiplayer experience including all the DLC for the low price of $15. Sony dropped a bomb shell when they decided to sneak in a discount for PlayStation Plus members, instead of paying $15, they would now pay $7.50. Initially I thought it was an error on Sony’s part since this was never mentioned since its announcement. Sony’s PlayStation Blog update let us know that this wasn’t an error, the list price was indeed $7.50 for Plus members. Well it looks like Sony might have messed up. As you seen in the image above, the discount has disappeared. NeoGaf members have reported that the discount no longer exists. Rather shocked, I decided to check for myself, and sure enough, it’s gone. That screenshot was taken from the “PlayStation Plus New Release” section of the store, and yet it doesn’t have the discount price, instead it is the full $15. Why is it still in the “PlayStation Plus” section? While it does seem that this could be an error with the Store, this wouldn’t be the first time that Sony’s taken something off the store without warning.
