Bear McReary is an amazing composer and arranger. He is best known for composing all the original music for the new series of Battlestar Galactica. He made an absolutely amazing arrangement of Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower" incorporating electric sitars and weird instruments like that. It sounds awesome

Discuss this song and any of his other arrangements or compositions here.
Love his work. Amongst the compositions done for the show, other than "All Along the Watchtower", includes "A Shape of Things to Come", "Apocalypse" (the theme to "The Plan"), "Gaeta's Lament" and "Wander My Friends." Throughout the whole show's run, he almost used every single type of style of music throughout the show's run. I gotta commend him for it as each piece is just as memorable as the next.
Is it me, or do all covers of All Along the Watchtower sound awesome?
Some of his work is absolutely amazing, a lot of scenes in Battlestar Galactica would've felt so empty without it. Many times the music was what completed it and made it so much more emotional.
