Delicious chicken sandwich chain owners have now opened a delectable poultry distribution center in Calgary's airplane stop. You guys didn't have chick-fil-a's?
I've actually never eaten at one of these places, is it good? (User was banned for this post ("Image macro. Snipping doesn't help if someone has quoted it" - Orkel))
You have to admit that they make damn good chicken burgers.
Good for Canada
you guys are about to taste some of the finest chicken sandwiches that ever existed
You have to admit that they make damn good chicken burgers.
It's fast food. Their chicken sandwiches taste marginally better than McDonalds. I'll never get all the people who say "I don't like their politics but I still go there because their food is just too good." Is it, really? It's not a quantum leap ahead of any of the sandwiches you get at any other fast food place. It's slightly bigger and tastes slightly better and you have to pay extra for toppings on it. C'mon.
Well at least have the decency to come over to southern Ontario.
Of course the first one would open in the biggest city in Canada's bible belt.
-snip, dumb joke taken the wrong way-
They have some pretty decent customer service too, they really stand out of that accord.
[IMAGE] I've actually never eaten at one of these places, is it good?
Just a heads up, you can be banned for meme reply's/image macros. Also that's really, really dumb and not funny at all.
Eh, it's a bit expensive but its miles better than a lot of fast food. And I honestly couldn't give less of a damn about what the owners of a fast food company believe in or support as long as their food is good, which it definitely is.
Truett Cathy (founder) is actually a nice man and his restaurant makes really good food. You just kind of ignore the politics like you hear from your rascist grandparents.
Calgary of all places. I'm sure we all see why right? Still, I'd eat there. The chicken looks pretty great.
Forget the sandwiches, the chick-fil-a sauce rules
Of course my state is one of the few that don't have a chick-fil-a in it. Need an excuse to go to CA now.
I don't understand what the religious associations of the owner has to do with this, Chickfila is delicious and you guys are missing out if you didn't have them.
I've actually never eaten at one of these places, is it good?
Depends on your standards. In my opinion KFC even surpasses it.
My city just got one early this year, probably the best fast food chicken around here
I don't understand what the religious associations of the owner has to do with this, Chickfila is delicious and you guys are missing out if you didn't have them.
If you eat a chickfila sandwich you're literally baptized at the register by the 100% Christian Staff who are also pastors and forced to hate gays though didn't you know
I don't understand what the religious associations of the owner has to do with this, Chickfila is delicious and you guys are missing out if you didn't have them.
It matters because the company donates money to religious fundamentalist groups that use their political power to oppose gay rights (and reproductive rights). That's your money they're spending. Whenever they cut a check to some organization that pressures politicians to oppose gay rights, they're able to do that because you, the consumer, gave them that money by buying their sandwiches and their overpriced salads.
Its literally the best. Mine just opened in my town and its so fucking nice. Its almost too nice..
My chik-fil-a hired so many people. When i went there, there was a load of employees at the counter because they had nothing to do. there were more employees than people, and the place was busy.
It is good food, but I don't eat there anymore because of their political views. When I did they were a great way to tell it was Sunday. Because Sunday is the day you always want Chick-fil-a and then you realize it is also the only day they aren't open. Because of an (un)dead magic Jew.
I don't understand what the religious associations of the owner has to do with this, Chickfila is delicious and you guys are missing out if you didn't have them.
Absolutely nothing, I just wanted to spark debate to prolong the life of this thread. What a genius idea!

It's basically Texas North, complete with being dependent on oil and being the home riding of the right-wing dickpuppet oilman running the country from the pocket of big business and ruining the national reputation. It even has its own local version of the Tea Party, and they're just as embarrassing and cringe-inducing every time they open their mouths. So, the location is hardly a coincidence. The fact that Calgary is also one of the fastest growing places in Canada and is a major metropolitan hub for the prairies (it and Edmonton) is certainly a factor, of course.

i wouldn't personally spend money at chik-fil-a but i have no problem if someone else buys me their food
