If Mattrick gets that job EA is going to absolutely bomb. He's proven that he just doesn't understand the gaming audience at all and irregardless of how long his track record is if he can't keep up and be able to gauge what people actually want and will like then he's going to fall flat on his arse.
As always, Pachter is useless and I do not know why people specifically listen to him. Anyone could do his job at this rate.

Eh, He's a good reviewer, or at-least at posing his position from a consumer standpoint: but we need people who can more-or-less see from a developer's standpoint (Not from a marketer), many of the things he talks about are simply not doable, RPGs had not advanced because it's really REALLY fucking hard to do it technically, not because we haven't tried.
I can do it, sign me up EA I'll take £120k a year thanks.
