I got really inspired by Darkslicer and his own song, so I did what any other musician would've done and started doodling. This doodling then turned into a jam session with my two friends, and now you have this.

Personally I think this is one of the best songs I've written in terms of overall mood and composition, now I want to share it with all you cool cats and I hope you will enjoy it. =)
It's generally a bit quiet but that's not a huge issue. One thing that jumped out that I'd change is the bit at 0.30, it sounds too happy, I'd put the higher notes a semitone down personally.

I've changed up the volume now so that it's at a more comfortable volume, this also means the distorted ending is more chaotic now. Sounds a lot better now, thanks!
I can see what you mean with it being too happysounding, so I tried putting it a semitone. I don't think it works as well as it currently is so I think I will keep it as it is now. I really appreciate you listening to the track and giving your thoughts on what could be bettered, while I won't change that particular thing in this song I know I will keep it in mind for future songs and I already have something planned that will have a sequence like that, but now at a semitone lower. =)
Oh wow! I got someone inspired! Feels good
I like the song! It's weird but that's the way it should be! Sadly the drums sound a bit weak, they would give the nice oomph and boom to the track in positions where it changes to full chaos.
The ending is definetly made really good composition wise! You might lower the distortened higher tones sound wise at the higher frequencies at around 3khz and up to make it's sound to be there but not that scratching high.

You're absolutely right, the drums definietly need a bit more oomph and boom. I have given it more of that boom now during the chaotic ending, also added some cymbals near there (it were meant to gradualy rise, but in the end it just comes out near the last four bars which I think works really well actually!) to really drive home the chaotic feel.
Something I also did was boosting the low and mids on the overall track, and some lowering of the high. I also cut of around 3khz, compressed it two times to get a more well-rounded volume (but still having things get 'higher'), it did get a lot better now I think, thanks a lot for that input mate. =)

Definitly sounds better now! I like the chaos really much at 2:30.
Could you explain me how you jammed this with your buddies? On bass, drums and guitar and recorded while doing it or did you use programs?

Called my friends over, told my buddy who plays bass to bring it with him and then I showed him the riff. We then started staking out the composition on how it should be while my drummer buddy came with suggestions on what could be added and so forth.
He couldn't bring his drums but I have a couple of (small) bongo drums we set up as a makeshift drum. Two saucepans turned upside down as cymbals, and then we just jammed on top of that.
The drumming was later recorded at his own home since he has electronic drums he can play on. Then they send the .wavs of their recordings to me and let me master and mix it. =)
