Cat Survives Being Runover, Shot, and having a Leg Amputation

[quote]A cat who was hit by a car, shot and left for dead in Indianapolis over the weekend is now being cared for by the Humane Society of Indianapolis and may make a recovery in time for the holidays.
The 4-year-old male Russian Blue cat, named “Big Bob,” was found by volunteers of local cat-advocacy group IndyFeral, who then brought him to IndyHumane for life-saving medical care. Big Bob’s thigh had shrapnel from a firearm embedded in it, and his leg’s fracture was so significant that the leg had to be amputated in order to save the cat’s life. Big Bob is doing well after his surgery and is being monitored by our veterinary team, which provides a variety of care in addition to spay/neuter surgeries to dogs and cats surrendered to the shelter and transferred from other rescue groups.

meow
wonder how many lives it lost
For such squishy things cats can be pretty fucking resilient to stuff.
Big Bob?
what a terrible fucking name for a cat
A Russian Blue? God damn, how did such a cat end up being shot and run over? Russians Blues are goddamn expensive.

Wilco.

Damn, must have either been a very large cat or a very small gun.
I'm sure they don't call him Big Bob for nothing.
Unless.....

Rasputin did not originate with Team Fortress 2.

Since when? Rasputin is obviously a fictional character name from TF2 and not an invincible Russian mystic or anything.
Where do you get such ideas?
Huh, looks exactly like our cat. Except ours is a girl.
Good thing he has 6 lives left!
I have to shoot that cat again now. Dammit.
Damn unkillable cat.

Bad ass cat.
What a cute cat. Does he have a peg leg now?
God that cat is lucky to be alive! Glad to hear he's recovering.
My cat is half Russian blue :3
I wonder if I can some how get his genetics added to mine. I could use with his hardiness and luckiness.
