Thats why I'm loving this company their not backing down at the claims of being bettr and if you look every one compares this to the ipad and kindel and in every comparison of specs the ADAM has the same + more.

all the other stuff might be expensive, but the ipod is still pretty damn good

Apple customers generally don't buy Apple products because said products are better than other similar devices. It's not about that.
It's about the big fat iProduct, the Apple logo, the shiny white plastic, and the fact that it's made by Apple.
This product is not made by Apple, thus it cannot appeal to Apple fans no matter how much better it is.
The specs are pretty awesome, but the thing itself looks like it is based on something from 1980
