Sorry about the poor filming for the first few clips, they were my first time filming Downhilling ever. [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9HepPJ_UlY[/media] C&C Welcome!
I'm not sure what makes my neck hair rise itself the most, imagining myself on the bike down those hills or imagining myself standing there as the bikes speeds towards me.
Haha I Downhill as well, but the guy in the video has been doing it for longer than me, and is quite faster. Also the first track is the easiest in the area! Trust plays a big part in it, as we are good friends and I know his riding capabilities. But if he were to fall on me, I would just move the camera out of the way and catch his fall: [B]ITS A BRO THING TO DO.[/B]
Tried downhilling, found it more fun on a mountain board.
Hold on, Googling this shit up. [editline]09:12PM[/editline] Looks pretty intense.
Cool someone else in the MTB buisness I see. I ride mostly street but I have a vast history with downhill and especially dropoffs. AS for the video, it's quite boring. Most of the time it's riding from a relatively boring terrain with a few bumps. Those few jumps were spicing it up a bit, but they were small. tough whip was quite cool. Make the jumps bigger, find some dropoffs or shit and look other bike videos to get some good tips on camera angles. I have one bike video in the works as well. [editline]03:25PM[/editline] What front shock did that guy have?

[editline]10:21PM[/editline] Also thanks for the C&C, this was mostly a test for a much longer and bigger movie. As for the jump/obstacle size, I am going to cover most of the races for my state's club, which are much bigger, as it is race season! (yay!). Also there are bigger and harder tracks in the area I aim to film in, but I may go out of town to film some of the less visited tracks. Going to have a tad of BMX to shake things up as well :)
ride street with MTB like real men. [editline]07:30PM[/editline] Do dropoffs and stuff. Even flats should be piece of cake seeing as I can do 2m flats on my hardtail with ease and you have full suspensions. drops are simple yet effective.
Don't leave the music AND the sound effects in during the entire time. It gets annoying and quite tedious. I don't want to hear the music and some guy in the background screaming, "OH MY GOD DUDE!"
The music is a good choice. Fits in well.

I can 360 8 stairs and double peg flat rails. [editline]12:29PM[/editline] [QUOTE=onox37;23183652]Don't leave the music AND the sound effects in during the entire time. Also it was a mate saying that, and seeing as I made this FOR mates they found it funny.

I had a fork on mine for half a year or so. Wrists don't really matter if you know how to land. Plus tricks are hellot harded to do on MTB. Took me half a year to nail 180 on my mtb before I learned it on a bmx with half a hour.
The video was good and the music was fitting but some more camera angles would be nice, most of it was just you standing close to where the bike is going to pass then following it when it passes, it gets boring and predictable.
Hey, Just a quick tip, when you are shooting handheld you want to bring your arm holding the camera in so your elbow is touching your stomach and use the other hand to stabilize the hand holding the camera. Also, you might want to look into some color grading to just make it look nicer in general.
Thanks for the C&C everyone!
