Israel was not the original aggressor if I'm reading this right. Although, the damage done from the initial rocket attack was negligible and seeing how prevalent it's become to act as your enemy would to justify eliminating them, you never know. I just hope that the whole region can find peace soon, and stop all this violence.

Those civilians didn't deserve to get attacked. If you have a quarrel with a country then attack it's military or even industry. Don't hit their homes. Total Warfare isn't something a civilized people should engage in. This goes for both sides here.

In this war over the Gaza Strip you have a group which has become what they despised, and another group fighting in savagery for what they assume is their homeland still. This war will continue to go on, because no one is willing to take both parties attempts at peace seriously. The only solutions that'll ever fix this problem is either the Israelis leave, or the Palestinians leave. The last solution is the United States realizes it's part in Israels creation and just makes it and Palestine a territory of the United States, and takes control of their militaries and National Guards in order to stop them from ever throwing so much as a rock at each other anymore.

That's not even a heavy barrage. 30 rockets is a single barrage.

You can't have a cold war when one side has all the power. This is a cultural conflict that's existed for thousands of years in one sense or another.
