• The Importance of a Leg Workout

Now, I've notice a lot of people working out to get fit on this sub-forum neglect their leg workouts. Either by skipping them or by just not incorporating them in to their personal workout. Now it is highly understandable for people not to like to work on legs. It seems to put stress on your whole body and the feeling of that can be a pain in the ass. But legs are the most essential part of the body. I mean yea, big thighs don't get the ladies the upper-body gets the ladies. I mean have you ever heard of a girl walking up to a guy and saying "Nice thighs". It would be nice but it just doesn't happen. Apperance: Now upper-body looks good and all but the fact is, if you have a huge upper body and small chicken legs, well it looks weird. I mean once you hit that beach with your gym body it will still look weird. Essentially: The legs are the main support for the body. When worked out the legs release a natural hormone of testosterone and other anabolic muscle-building hormones. The stress when lifting heavy on legs actually helps work out the entire body. You will also increase in size and weight faster if you do legs. You want to feel the soreness and the leg-shaky workouts when you are done at the gym, that is how you know you have obtained a good leg workout. So remember folks, if you do not work out legs; you won't see results as fast as you may like and since the legs support the entire human body you will see results quicker. Your upper-body will follow with your legs.
I'm so glad you made this thread.
I just helped a friend of mine at the gym with the same issue. His arms were as big as his thighs, no joke.
When worked out the legs release a natural hormone of testosterone and other anabolic muscle-building hormones..
No creditable articles? Scientifical facts? I will never believe this shit as long as I don't see an empirical study. Even the logic behind this is faulty. Why would the body prefer your thighs over any other muscle in your body?

The body doesn't prefer the legs, it just happens to be a huge muscle full of testosterone-releasing potential that lots of people seem to overlook.

But if you're not working your legs with squats and deadlifts you are literally a retard.
Google it. What Casus says it right. It's a fact
but casus was proving you wrong lol although I agree it`s important to work legs, they won`t help your testosterone levels anymore than working out back will also, they won't help your other bodyparts grow, if you want to make a part grow, you work it out, not some magical indirect workout broscience
