oh look the average programmer, or why is he so special
He's 14, I'm sure most kids at that age only care about getting laid and being stupid.
damn it i don't even get dreams in english i gotta step my game up
He's 14, I'm sure most kids at that age only care about getting laid and being stupid.
I've been coding since before that
oh look the average programmer, or why is he so special
I wish I was average programmer at 14
Good for this kid, I hope he grows up to be a very successful man.
He's 14, I'm sure most kids at that age only care about getting laid and being stupid.
Can I just address that I think it's very much okay to be stupid when you're a teen? I think it can be important to be dumb and experimental when you're a teen, or else you might regret it later. I figure it's part of learning life, and it's better to have tried than just observed.
I'm glad he's coding I just don't understand why he deserves the "savant" moniker
oh look the average programmer, or why is he so special
Because he graduates college with his masters degree at 17?
oh look the average programmer, or why is he so special
uh he's in college at 14, graduating at 17. If you actually watch the video you can see how he is gifted [editline]3rd January 2013[/editline]
I'm glad he's coding I just don't understand why he deserves the "savant" moniker
because he is
One of my friends at school is a programmer. I remember one day in Spanish class he brought in this thick book about programming languages. He told me a bit about the different types and how one of them always got on his nerves because of how confusing it was. Most of it kind of flew over my head. When this kid said he was fluent in a dozen programming languages, it got me wondering what it's like to learn it. I mean I'm still struggling to learn just Spanish, how hard would it be to learn 12 programming languages by 14? Anyways yeah this kid is purrdy smart.
Now I seriously wonder, is this one of those cases of good autism?
I wish I could be a programmer :smith:
Damn, he's only 14 and making brilliant applications in C in university, yet I'm struggling to program with Visual Basic 6 in grammar school at 18. He's got some impressive motivation.
My experience at coding is 0 I don't even know the difference between Java and C++ or C+/+ whatever it now is... C++++++++//+ fuck this
I'm quite jealous when I see his mental capacities in a way, good for him for being so fluent as a programmer, another aspect is that I also pity him, because it's obvious he has some sort of social disadvantage.
"My ultimate goal is to work at apple" Personally I don't mind apple, but god he could do so much better if he made games/program's by himself.
"My ultimate goal is to work at apple" Personally I don't mind apple, but god he could do so much better if he made games/program's by himself.
Was waiting for that.
I wish I was average programmer at 14
I'm a shit programmer right now :v:
Now I seriously wonder, is this one of those cases of good autism?
there are no good cases of autism
I was never really into programming like, at all, but, that's just me.
He's 14, I'm sure most kids at that age only care about getting laid and being stupid.
14 year old culture [thumb]http://arteknyc.files.wordpress.com/2008/04/monster-one.jpg[/thumb]
"My ultimate goal is to work at apple" Personally I don't mind apple, but god he could do so much better if he made games/program's by himself.
I don't think it's an overstatement to say that Apple's brand image is probably burned in the poor kid's retina now, he even draws Macs.
"My ultimate goal is to work at apple" Personally I don't mind apple, but god he could do so much better if he made games/program's by himself.
He could make is own damn company
In the video it says that he's fluent in various programming languages And I'm still incapable of learning to do basic console shit on C++
because he is
uh no He made checkers for app store at 14 and likes to learn and not do anything else, doesn't really make him a savant. Savantism is not even close to this.
