Microsoft would force them to charge up the asshole for it. At least Valve's immediate response to that is giving the money to the original mapmakers. They're such a good-hearted bunch of lads... [img]http://www.facepunch.com/fp/rating/heart.png[/img]
Something tells me it won't work out, though. Microsoft is far too anal with their policies.
I'm so starting to make l4d maps if this comes through.
Fucks sake. Yeah EA thats a fucking Genius stroke right there, how about we charge the 360 owners for content that PC players get for free, I'm sure they wont mind it because the author gets paid.
Well, Xbox guys, enjoy paying for more free content.
Valve is gonna get fucked up if this doesn't end up happening.

I'd blame Microsoft.
yay! wait thats a bad thing :(

Why...?
It'd be awesome to get paid for making a campaign. :h::love::h:

And it'd be bullshit to buy a free campaign.

Think about the general market of the Xbox.
They won't know that it's free on PC, because they will be too busy pwning at halo.

That's what you get for buying a 360.

EA? Who said anything about EA? Valve came up with this idea, and if anybody is going to make them charge money for it, then it'll be Microsoft because it's on Microsoft's platform that they'll be releasing on.
I noticed a lot of people get this mixed up: EA plays no part in the development of ideas or content in Valve's retail games (sans PS3 Orange Box). EA is simply a distributor used to get the game onto the shelves. That's why their logo is nowhere to be seen in-game.
Probably not going to happen anytime soon.
Stop talking about L4D Valve and give us some info on Episode 3 damn it.
A lot of Dead before dawn will have to be redone then.

I don't really see why, if they can get it working in L4D on the PC, and with the help of Valve, there should be no reason as to why they can't port L4D maps to the 360.
Good to hear, personally, being raised on console, then switching to PC, it's good to see Valve is trying to support the loyal xbox fans, however many or little their numbers are.

A lot of copyrighted content as well as poor optimization in some areas. Although this should be fixed when darth gets his computer fixed. Also there are some areas that could be hard to manuever with the 360 controller.

1 reason why I love PC
If this comes out i will finish my campaign for money. Oh, and showing off.
