There's loads of stuff you could be referring to, Down tempo, trip-hip, etc etc, what kind of sounds are you into?

The kick drum is pretty bass heavy
Quinten 909 makes some pretty sweet basslines.
Read the OP properly, sounds what he wants is Drum 'n' Bass.
