I'm in the market to buy a guitar, and one of my friends is selling his Ibanez. Unfortunately, he doesn't know what model it is. Picture is below, media-tagged for size.

Is there any way to find the model name so I can read reviews/prices before I go to try it?
check the serial number it should be on the back of the headstock.
it looks like an ART200
I don't think it is an ART200, as the ART200 has a different fretboard inlay and a deeper cutaway.
I am not sure but a random guess would be a 1970's (Lawsuit) era, Les Paul clone.

that "random" guess makes it out to be worth more than it probably is. lawsuit ibanez guitars are pretty rare these days
besides it doesn't really look that old
OP, just look for the serial number and tell us what it is
The tension is killing me.
Yeah I'm pretty sure it's just a regular old Ibanez ART of some sort...
Ibanez Cherry?
Don't be a faggot, if you want a Les Paul shaped guitar, then get a fucking Les Paul.

Whatever it is, I fucking want it bad.
As far as I can tell that guitar doesn't exist.

Damn, looked similar
I have no way to check the serial number because it's not mine - I'll be able to see it and play it on Thursday to check. What do I do once I have the serial number?
