After I've finished watching all of the Sopranos episodes, I started watching Dexter. Dexter was like crack to me, but now I've watched it all, and the new season won't be out for a while. I need something to watch. Is there anything as good as Dexter out there?
Lost

Fuck Lost. I'd say Breaking Bad.
Isn't lost the one that begins to make no sense close to the conclusion of the series, and then delivers a disappointing ending? I'm going to look into that Breaking Bad thing... More suggestions are welcome.
the wire is really good
True Blood.
My favourites are Breaking Bad, True Blood, Prison Break, Dollhouse, Heroes, Lost, Supernatural and Chuck.
The Bill

Just watch it.

The people who watched it right from the start until the very last episode instead of watching the first season then maybe a couple of episodes here and there, then the last one believe that it was a great ending and it cleared up a lot of things. People who have not watched the whole thing to not get a say in how the ending went and what was explained, they are just pissed off that they didnt get off the island in the second episode.
Supernatural
Prison Break seasons 1 and 2. Though you'll probably watch 3 and 4 anyways if you end up watching the show.
short answer is no. i've watched breaking bad, the wire, oz, lost, and many others. there is nothing as good. also
Prison Break, Heroes, Supernatural
these are terrible shows
I can't actually think of anything I've watched that is better than Dexter. Maybe Firefly, although the ending, or lack thereof, kicks you in the teeth, then beats what remains of your face into a bloody pulp. Band of Brothers was quite good, but it's more of a drama serial than a TV show, and has like 10 episodes.
Chuck :3
As with the others, I've heard (but haven't personally seen) that Breaking Bad is relatively good, while Heroes and Prison Break (which I have seen) were good for the first two seasons or so. Heroes drifted away in the third, got somewhat decent in the fourth, but is being dropped and canceled before the fifth. You could try watching Stargate SG-1? I've heard that's the best of the three Stargate series, and I'm going to start it soon myself. You can find all ten seasons on Hulu.
Chuck. It's got everything, and the characters are all so good.
The only thing that's on the same level to me, is Breaking Bad.
Lost
i agree, but only watch up to when they get off the island, or a little bit before that.
Chuck and Breaking Bad, great shows.
I agree with Chuck, though it's more Humor based, though still retains the excitement and cliffhangers.
Lost, when it was still on :( Supernatural Chuck Breaking Bad Stargate SG1, Atlantis, and Universe Leverage
Chuck. It's got everything, and the characters are all so good.
Definitely not this. Only remotely redeeming feature I found was it had Jayne from firefly and Miranda from ME2 in it.

Prison Break and Supernatural are both pretty great series. You seem to have a knack for hating anything that's actually good.
Burn Notice is pretty awesome. [editline]12:30PM[/editline] and Chuck

Burn Notice is pretty good but probably not as good as Dexter, good fun to watch but not particularly awesome. Breaking Bad is really good but doesn't have the same spark that Dexter has I didn't really like Stargate SG1, felt it was a bit generic and didn't really stand out but was still an decent Sci Fi. Since every episode of Lost has been aired you don't have to wait and can just run through them, I liked it but I found most of the enjoyment comes from connecting with the characters instead of mystery and shit.
Try Breaking Bad or Weeds. Weeds has some pretty good dark humor, like Dexter, + Kevin Nealon.
