According to a Tuesday report, the division argued independent tests performed by Nielsen Co. showed Verizon in fact suffers from fewer blocked or dropped calls than Sprint. In response, Sprint is asking the parties to consider test numbers from more than one source in order to help eliminate one-time events that include bad weather or bad cell towers. Sprint isn't backing down from its claims and stated it will appeal the recommendation with the National Advertising Review Board. Such complaints are becoming more commonplace, as AT&T recently sued Verizon over misleading ads, and there was a lawsuit filed by Telus against Rogers in Canada.
god damn verizon is such a troll
Verizon can't take the heat, or couldn't think of a better advertising strategy.
I don't know about verizon being the most dependable, I sometimes get no service in other peoples homes even though we live in the same city(areas all the same) and I get no service in some classrooms
when we had verizion service we had no bars in our house ever [editline]08:44PM[/editline] AT&T Gives us bars at least
AT&T Gives us bars at least
Maybe if you're sitting on top of a cell tower with the thing halfway up your ass, then you might get a couple. AT&T is the most spotty cellular provider I have ever used.
I like Verizon. :saddowns: Also, all my friends who have Sprint in this area do fine, not good but fine, but they tend to have trouble sending texts and making calls to people on other networks.

I have a hard time using my phone in my room. One side of the house gets great service, but my side is a dead zone. I have to hold my phone upside down (don't ask why, it just works) to even marginally get bars. Making a call is even worse of a nightmare.
I like them both, but I honestly find Sprint to be a better and more professional company.
Verizon should stick to FiOS :buddy:
I'll stay with Sprint, thank you Verizon.
i have bars where ever i go except for some barren parts in virginia when i went on vacation once to NYC (Roaaad trrriiipp)
I've gotten dropped calls outside on the street in downtown San Fransisco.

Hint, all these phones designed as MP3 players and gaming consoles aren't as good as a normal phone, at being a phone.
This is actually surprising, I thought truth in advertising was a thing of the past considering how obviously untruthful and sleezy most commercials nowadays are. I seriously can't stand alltel commercials. That guy in their commercials is a gigantic douche.
I have Verizon and so does almost everyone who lives around me, I get good service unless I am in the gym or lunchroom of my school, besides that I usually have a few bars [editline]04:24AM[/editline]
This is actually surprising, I thought truth in advertising was a thing of the past considering how obviously untruthful and sleezy most commercials nowadays are. I'm surprised at Verizon, they're actually a pretty damn good provider. But I thought Verizon's real enemy AT&T, not Sprint...
Verizon is shit compared to AT&T Those commercials that map the 3g service areas in the US compared to AT&T are bullshit if you've used both services
Who needs phones anyways?
There are few things in the world I care about less than a couple of telecoms companies trying out outspend each others advertising.
I have no problems at all with Verizon. No dropped calls or anything. Just some bad reception in some of the classrooms in my school.
Sprint is the best. Always had 4+ bars no matter what. Hell I could surf the web on my Trio if I was in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Great stuff.
