I had some of this "spy gear" as child. It was like 3 small wireless detectors and a small computer thing.
When they detect movement you get warned on computer and it shows which one has been triggered. Includes toggleable sound. I think thats much simpler and better.

A surprising amount of doors don't have locks of any kind.
