Planning on picking up both the Pokemon games so I assume this means I get 2 free games
Another source but from the actual UK Nintendo website.

why do Europe and Japan always get the good shit
I really wish we didn't have to wait an arbitrary amount of time for Smash.

To be fair, have you seen the Stars catalog in Europe? USA and Japans one is amazing, the Europe one only has cardpoints for the DSI and Wii...
Register a Nintendo 2DS, Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 3DS XL system with Club Nintendo between 11th September 2014 and 12th January 2015 (23:59 local time)
So because i bought and registered my 3DS XL about 2 months ago before 11th of September in anticipation for Smash Bros, im not eligible for the free game?

Only if you have 2 unregistered 3DS consoles.

Rule #1 when you buy a Nintendo console in Europe is to not register it until there is an offer on. They give free games away with almost every big release but only to new users.

Are we in different versions of the USA? The USA has absolute shite prizes to redeem.
A quick browse of the U.K. prizes: Yoshi plush toy, Super Mario Galaxy Soundtrack, Wii-Mote Straps, and a Game & Watch device for Ball.
U.S. Prizes: Greeting Cards, patches, an Animal Crossing poster set, and four prizes that have been "unavailable" for ages, now, which includes a tote bag and another poster set for Link Between Worlds.
NA has been getting shafted, as of late, in comparison to other regions, in terms of bonuses.

This clause also annoys me. A massive benefit to incoming customers that neglects long-standing customers.

That Yoshi plush must be new. Yous can actually get games with your shit though.
The only thing we can get in relation to games is that Game and Watch Ball thing or point cards for the DSi or Wii. Even all of their game cases and shit are for the DSi and stuff.

We got $30 of eshop credit if we owned both Fire Emblem Awakening and Shin Megami Tennis IV, which is amazing and all you people in Europe should buy it when it comes out over there some time this month.

Oh... :(

I don't know anyone that cares for the games. In fact, I think the concept to be silly. I want prizes that can be gotten exclusively via Club Nintendo, and alternatively, we're limited to 8 prizes. I'm sure you get less bang for your buck with point cards, but at least point cards let you choose any product.

Do you really expect them to give away £20-£30 games to everyone that buys Smash Bros/Pokemon?
