I've recently gotten a new kitten, I'm not sure how to introduce him to my other two cats (2 years old one male one female). At the moment the older male seems to be a little bit edgey around the kitten, he hissed once and seems to give him weird stares but isn't violent. On the other hand my female cat seems to be really scared, shes more then twice the size and when ever I carry her into the room she runs off and hides. Got any tips on what to do with all these cats?

Get the kittens scent on a blanket, put the blankets around the house for a week or two, play some kitten noises off an ipod, laptop, etc.
It works for Cats/Dogs/Birds, any pet really.

thats way to fucking complicated
stick them in a 1x1 foot box together they have no choice but to like eachother
Just leave them, they'll either start to get along or start to hate each other.

Bad Idea
The best way to do it is to let them naturally get to know each other. Or you can just sit down and pet the kitten so the other cats will see that you like it, and therefore give them a reason to like it, also.
Older cats will eat the kitten if they don't like him.

That's what I told my mum :P.
Put them in a box together.
Dude you need to put each of them in a separate box and then stack the boxes.
Fool proof!

Or refuse for so long that they're forced to eat the smaller one, you asshole.
Just let them be, they might hiss at each other a few times, but they'll get of it.

You've never heard of animals getting jealous have you?
Do not give the kitten all the attention, the other cats will kill it.
Get your kitten some bling then the other cats will have respect. word?
Introduce them at feeding times. They'll be more interested in the food and smell the kits scent.
Just put the kitten down and monitor it...
Drug your cats' food.
Cats don't fight when they're asleep. :3:
Get them together in a little cat partay and play them this song

Wow a logical answer. Not a bad idea try this.
I just got a new kitten and the damn thing thinks one of my male cats is its mother, so it tries to nurse on him. :geno:
Said kitten and cat.

Make them smell each others butt. No serious! A cat will be friendly once they smell each others butt. That's how my cats got to know each other.

this one is better
Put the older cat's in one room then put the kitten next to the door so they can get eachother's scent then after a bit let them meet eachother. Also if one get's pissed at the other don't videotape it and upload it to the internet.

Just lock them in a cage together and see who eats the other one first. :rolleye:
