Miraculously, he survived. But one leg had to be amputated below the knee; both femurs and his pelvis were fractured; and he suffered a broken arm and a punctured lung.

In a video deposition, Ingram testified the accident never happened. "Read my lips," she said. "I don't remember. I put it out of my mind. I've tried to keep some of this off of my mind."

After her collision with Wall, she was ordered to take a driver's test. She failed four times, while still retaining her license. On her fifth try in three months, she passed. But even then, the examiner noted she had problems with awareness and braking skills.

Ms. Ingram shows no signs of relinquishing her license, nor does she plan to pay her share of the $5 million verdict. She still denies that she hit Jerry Wall, even though repair records indicate her repair shop scraped off his flesh and blood from the front of her car.
She doesn't sound like a very nice lady.
She still denies that she hit Jerry Wall, even though repair records indicate her repair shop scraped off his flesh and blood from the front of her car.
What? WHAT!?
After what i read, that woman should not be allowed to drive anymore. Ever.
from the comments..
Just looked her up, she owns $693,000.00 in land, home, barn in Weatherford, so she can downsize and pay this poor guy whatever she profits and go to assisted living and ride a shuttle bus.
"I don't remember it, so I'm not responsible for it"
A woman turned on the TV to breaking news about a man driving the wrong way down the freeway. Recognizing this road as the road her husband uses to get home from work, she calls him on his cell phone to warn him. "Honey, you need to be careful, there's some maniac on the news driving down the freeway in the wrong direction!" Her husband replies, "one maniac? I've seen thousands!" But really this is horrible and at the very least she needs to lose her license.
In a video deposition, Ingram testified the accident never happened. "Read my lips," she said. "I don't remember. I put it out of my mind. I've tried to keep some of this off of my mind."
Sounds like she's repressing the memory. Or she's just plain lying.
Sounds like she's repressing the memory. Or she's just plain lying.
Even if she has memory problems that's more than enough to take her license.
Sounds like she's repressing the memory. Or she's just plain lying.
Most likely the latter, she sounds like the type of asshole that'd do that
After her collision with Wall
She hit a Wall :v: In all seriousness though she shouldn't be driving
Sounds like she's repressing the memory. Or she's just plain lying.
She lying and doesn't want to get in trouble and thinks she can get away with it Some people, surprisingly, don't give two shits about anyone but themselves and will do whatever it takes for them to exploit things in their favor, from down to bitching about to having to pay sales tax when eating in an establishment (for states that requires it) up to doing stuff like this where they straight up lie and act innocent in the face of evidence (shows that these people aren't usually the smartest out there either). Some of them might actually believe their lies, if they lived an entire life of habitually lying about everything.
This why anybody over the age of 60-70 should have to take a mandatory driving checkup once every year if not more often to keep those who can no longer drive correctly off the roads.
"Ms. Ingram shows no signs of relinquishing her license, nor does she plan to pay her share of the $5 million verdict. She still denies that she hit Jerry Wall, even though repair records indicate her repair shop scraped off his flesh and blood from the front of her car." she reminds me of a fucking kid who denies eating the ice cream when they have it dripping all over their shirt.
How can she be so ignorant that her age hasn't affected her? I personally think anyone over 75 should have to repeat the test every 2 years in order to keep it.
I would like to bring up the part where it says after she hit the guy she failed a driving test 4 consecutive times and kept her license. Does this make any sense to anybody? Because I can't seem to piece together why the hell that should be the case.
Ha, say goodbye to paying for college with your inheritance, grandkids! Under no circumstances should this person ever be allowed near a car again. Or anything that, you know, moves.

Holy shit, finally my town is in the news! Too bad it has to be for something like this, we have lots of nicer things going on. :(
She lying and doesn't want to get in trouble and thinks she can get away with it
this just in, old people who drive on the wrong side of the road tend to not be in a sound mental state, symptoms including loss of memory and poor decision making

Is there anybody who doesn't have a story about an elderly driver endangering somebody's life? My old principal was dragged sixty feet by an old woman who didn't notice she'd run someone over. The principal wasn't badly hurt, thankfully, but that's more luck than anything. If you can actually fail to notice that you've just struck somebody with your car, then for your own sake and the sake of every other person around you, you should not be behind the wheel of a vehicle.
I wouldn't be surprised if she were senile
Who the fuck let this woman keep her license after failing the test four goddamn times in 3 months? That dumbass oughta be fired.
Sounds like she's repressing the memory. Or she's just plain lying.
For some reason I feel almost certain that she's lying.
After her collision with Wall, she was ordered to take a driver's test. She failed four times, while still retaining her license. On her fifth try in three months, she passed. But even then, the examiner noted she had problems with awareness and braking skills.
Grounds enough to pull her license and impound her car. IF you can't pass your driver's test on the second try you don't need to be driving.
"In her case, she'd had multiple accidents before this devastating accident," said Wall's attorney Brad Kizzia, pointing out that she had had an accident the year she hit Wall, although no one was hurt that time.
Career bad driver it seems.
Ms. Ingram shows no signs of relinquishing her license, nor does she plan to pay her share of the $5 million verdict. She still denies that she hit Jerry Wall, even though repair records indicate her repair shop scraped off his flesh and blood from the front of her car
Fuck you, bitch. You're part of why insurance rates are so high. You're also part of why people keep trying to shove self-driving cars and automatic braking systems down our throats. Get out of the fucking car and don't get back in it.

She merged into me while we were both going 70 and pushed me right in front of a semi that didn't even bother to slow down. My passenger and I were perfectly fine, but the car was totaled.
